Can’t Beat These
These Akro-Mils 30210 Plastic Storage Bins storage bins are the best quality I have found. They do not crack or warp, and they stack well. They are great for holding screws, nails and any types of small parts.These bins are a good size too. I have Akro-Mils bins in a variety of sizes. (I do wish they made bins even smaller than these, but I think these are the smallest available.)Here’s how I rate them on each criteria:Build quality: 5 starsFunctionality: 5 starsSize: 5 starsOrganization functionality: : 5 starsStorage capacity: 5 starsStackability: 5 starsLooks: 4 stars (no complaints — but they are just utilitarian)Value for money: I have not found any better value from any competitors. These are very sturdy and handy bins to help organize anything small or even larger with larger size bins. The price on these can be quite steep at times but it fluctuates often. If color isn’t an issue, watch all the different colors as the price varies with this as well. I have also bought a couple cases from the “Used, like new” category and used the large discount associated with it. The “Used” cases of 24 arrived in exactly the same condition that the new cases of 24 arrived in, couldn’t tell the difference.These bins also allow for a larger tag on the front of the bin (1″x3″). I was able to cut different bolt & screw sizes into steel tags to help organize my bolt/screw assortment and get them out of boxes sitting in shelving around the garage. These are also handy in my reloading room to help keep things organized down there.I have since bought some slightly larger bins by the case and will keep a lookout for even larger sizes to drop in price.Mounting these I used the pictured Rubbermaid single track shelf brackets (from HD or Lowes) turned upside down and mounted to 3/4″ x 2″ pieces of wood that I ripped from pressure treated fence pickets that I had sitting around the basement. I just squared these up and spaced them equally to allow access to the bins above and below each row. Works great and costs much less than the advertised brackets that they sell.

High Quality Bins
When it comes to plastic bins that hang on a rack, these are the best. Some of the cheaper budget bins will break where they hang from. Also, the manufacturer has a large selection of sizes and they all fit the same rack.

I got these because they were out of Dillon blue. This color matched the ones that came with a Hornady press so I picked them up. Like all akro bins they are the best made quality bins you can get. They stack better than others are thicker than others and will hold the most weight if hung on a rack. Storage capacity is as expected for the size. I use these for bullets and smaller brass while loading.

Until now, I’ve only used old soup cans or plastic container. Now things are looking organized. All my extra nails, screws, hinges or springs in those Campbell meal cans. As such, one soup can of nails fit perfectly, with room to spare in the new red container.The red containers are made of hardened plastic and they are stout. You could probably break one if you hit it square on center but otherwise they hold up if one accidentally drops them on our concrete floor. For now I’m using them individually and not stacking them. I may stacked them when I get my next order; but for now it works better as singles, side-by-side.Just last month I purchased a different brand and style. They were OK but the smallest container which was 3×3 and it was mostly useless. Not big enough to hold much and too small that a full soup can of nails, screws…etc had to be distributed to four different containers. I still use them some times but having received the red containers they solved my problem and will have to place another order soon as I using them for everything. I have looked at a wide variety of containers as means for holding odds and ends, beside what I mentioned. This is the best for me maybe they will work for you.

Very nice, just a bit pricey
I love this set up and this size works well to display boxes of screws. I can see what I have and find what I need. I haven’t dumped the boxes in and we’ll see how it plays out. I live on a dirt road and everything gets so darn dusty and dirty. haha For the panel I have I mounted it (carriage bolts) onto 1/2″ chip board on the side of my one of my garage cabinets. Looks great and works out well. This stuff is nice I will say but it sure comes at a price too. I have over $200 in this now but I am more organized. The board I have took two boxes of these bins. Enjoy!
