Definitely an investment
I just received the drill and I agree with some of the other reviews that the plastic body, speed dial, and buttons make the drill feel cheap. Although the drill itself is really quiet and minimal vibrations. I like the built in stand and the weight of the drill itself. I feel like the price is steep but generally good value for money. Just like all the other Melodysusie products I use it works well and is easy to use. I received the drill half full battery and am charging it as I write this review. It is almost full after only 10 minutes of charging which is impressive hopefully it lasts a while. I like the screen too. It is easy to read and displays relevant information.

I ordered the MelodySusie Professional Portable Nail Drill Kit (40,000 RPM) to review and to have a dependable power tool for doing my nails. Right away, I was impressed with how sturdy it feels. The construction is solid and gives the sense that this tool is built to last.The kit also includes a generous set of accessories, which is great for getting started immediately. I didnât have to buy anything extra to begin using it. The drill itself is super quiet in operation, which makes the experience more enjoyable, and the battery life has been more than enough for my needs.The 40,000 RPM capacity is very powerfulâalmost more than Iâll ever use. Iâm not a professional, but Iâve tried other drills and this one clearly feels like a higher-quality tool. Itâs easy enough for beginners but also strong enough for someone who needs heavier or more frequent use.Overall, itâs a well-made kit that performs well. My only small concern is that the speed range might be more than most people need, but that doesnât take away from its quality. 4 stars âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸â Average to Above Average â At least what you would expect based on the Product Page.

Missed the Mark
It pains me to write this because I love everything MS makes but this one missed the mark for me. Not sure why this is labeled as “pro”. I have the MM400C (Sparkle Plus) and that one is leagues better, for starters its not in a plastic body and its actually cheaper than this one. This one goes up to 40k vs 35k on the Sparkle Plus but no one needs 40k RPMs. I do wish the Sparkle had the kickstand this one does, and the noise level on this one is a tad lower but it vibrates more than the Sparkle Plus and the controls just feel plastic and cheap. Its a great drill either way but at this price point get the Sparkle Plus. I love MS products and have their entire Fleurwee collection, dust collector, pro lamp etc but this one missed the mark. Id pay big bucks for a true MS Pro drill but this one isnt it.
