Best baby gates
We absolutely love this brand of baby gates. We have tried several brands and this has been the one that fits our needs the best. We have an autistic toddler so keeping certain areas of the house blocked off for his safety is essential and these gates have been lifesavers. They look nice and are easy for adults to open, but not our son. They are reasonably priced, sturdy, easy to install and keep our child safe. They are stable when our son leans against them and tries to open them. We have cats and they are still able to get where they need to be.

Perfect for my autistic children
Exactly what I was looking for. My family just moved into a new place and the gate we had previously didnât work because it wasnât wide enough. Both of my kids are autistic and have no sense of danger. The last gate, my oldest (6) was able to quickly learn to open. I wanted something that had that extra step of security (the lifting) to keep him from opening it while still being simple for me and my husband to use. Set up was easy; I installed it without screwing any holes and it feels pretty stable but time will tell. Itâs a bit on the pricy side but I feel like itâs worth it. I plan to get a second one to block access to my kitchen. I tried uploading a video but it wouldnât work but wanted to address some other reviews. Iâve seen some reviews with people holding up the gate not installed with the gap in the opening and saying itâs defective. Itâs because they removed the zip ties too early and donât have it installed. You are not supposed to remove the zip ties where it locks before installing it. Install it first, then remove the zip ties.

It’s extra wide as I needed. So I added all three or four extra pieces that came with it. However, I did not like the quality. It did not seem sturdy or stable. The joints where these extra pieces were joined were wiggly and it was just so hard to install it with the wiggly pieces. I returned it.Lock seemed fine and it was easy to open.

We have custom floating stairs so canât mount anything to the railing or the wall and therefore need pressure-fitted gates. These come in two heights and with lots of adjustable parts to fit many sizes and configurations of stairs/railings.The pressure-fit adjusters come with cups (that can be both adhesive or screw-in) to hold them in place and keep from sliding if the gate is pushed on.We purchased a compatible extra-long pressure-fit extender from another company for one of the four corner adjusters because of our stairwell design and it worked easily.Gate comes with convenient feature where it will automatically close behind you if opened to 90 degrees, but will stay open if opened more than 90 degrees (which is convenient if you have to carry something with both hands and donât have an extra hand to open the gate).Installation is incredibly easy and fast. Because they are pressure-fit are also very easy to move and reinstall (ie: if taking them to stay with friends/family or at a weekend property)These gates look great in our modern home and work well.

After following the instructions, the gate wouldnât unlock on the bottom lock and top lock wouldnât latch at all.Seemed like a sturdy design too.Rather disappointed.

It’s the best baby gate I’ve installed, as it is solid and works perfectly. You just need to set it up correctly – make sure it is firmly in place, and then snip the zip ties. But if you screw up and need to re-set it (after snipping the zip ties), you’ll quickly see that the gate will need to be fastened back as it was… but this is best done with a clamp – easy done. You can use the spare zip ties they provided to hold it fastened, or simply leave the clamps on as you set the whole unit in place.
