Great mat!
I shopped around quite a bit to find the perfect mat for bathtime for my 10mo old. He’s very mobile and likes to crawl around the tub. When I realized I’d never be able to stop him, I wanted to make it as safe as possible. The texture is great, the design is cute and it’s a good size. I have a very large tub and this covers a decent amount. I read a lot of reviews on other mats talking about mold being an issue. I haven’t had a problem with this one at all. I do hang it up on the towel track to dry each night though, so that may be helping. The only issue I have is it not fully sticking to my tub, but it’s a textured surface, so I was expecting that to happen. I just keep pushing the suction cups until enough stick. Tip: They stick better if you push down after the water has covered the bottom of the tub, as opposed to trying to get it to stick when tub is dry.

Even if the temp gauge doesnât work mine did thou itâs a great Matt! I love the price durability is awesome I always got stuck with this munchin matt for size but my daughter hates them and moldy insanely and take forever to dry this is beyond that it it was comfortable for both my four year old and my one year old. It drys so nicely I draped it over my tub and bam by bedtime it was completely dry to hang on my towel rack. Suctions are really sturdy no slip either I will renew this purchase. After four years of dealing with bath mats I loved this one.

Works Well, but needs to be adjusted often.
As our twin girls started getting older, we wanted to move them from the baby tubs to bathing at the same time in the regular tub. Purchased this based on reviews and it has worked great. The girls are at the age where they are constantly trying to move and this prevents them from slipping. My only gripe is that it has to be smoothed down and re-applied often (every other bath or so) or it starts to move around a bit in the tub.

Good idea, bad execution…
Bought this with high hopes, especially because I didn’t want to install anything permanent in the tub like other non-slip items on the market. I have used suction cups plenty over the years and understand a bit of moisture on the cups helps them to stick when you are installing them. However, on this item it makes no difference whatsoever. The mat still comes unstuck from the tub after you fill it with water. If I had to guess I would say that it is because of the very slight texture that is molded into the bottom of modern tubs. It creates just enough irregular surface to make suction cups not function properly. If the manufacturer reads this and wants to try something, maybe larger suction cups on the mat might eliminate this problem. I ended up throwing it away because it was too much hassle to keep using.

This mat gave our infant room to move in our bath with confidence he wasn’t going to slip over. Temperature indicator is also great for knowing the water isn’t too hot.

If I could give a 0 star I would… most definitely not the product I ordered and as itâs a Christmas present for my SIL I doubt Iâll be able to get something similar for the same price. Miffed is an understatement!
