Perfect for that one hard to get to camera
We connected this to one of our cameras in an area that has a lot of game activity, but is also an area that has a bit of a hike for us to get to. Weâve used Moultrie cameras for years and dealt with disposable batteries, but I really do prefer being able to stick a solar panel on the camera. Weâre figuring out which areas of our land get direct sunlight and are really suitable for solar and which ones are less optimal. Of course, that changes with season a little bit too. But Iâm really sold on the way the solar panel works and will be converting almost all of ours over the solar – which is going to be great in bright sunny, subzero weather when I donât want to have to go out and change batteries, lol.

Top Notch, Worth every Penny
I have the edge 2 cameras and was constantly having to change batteries. One camera takes over 500 pics a day. This solar panel with the built in battery is the only way to go. I never have to go into the woods to change batteries. Just hunting, which drastically reduces the pressure on the wildlife. There is not any downside to this. If you are buying batteries it will pay for itself in one hunting season. If you are charging batteries it will pay for itself in frustration in one month. I know this from my own experience. The connections are waterproof, and it hooks up and works flawlessly. Couldn’t be happier. Life just got a lot simpler.

This is a powerhouse that will keep your trail camera charged and ready to go. It’s easy to install thanks to the included hardware. You can wrap it around a tree or mount it to a pole. As long as it has unobstructed access to sunlight, it will stay charged up. It’s well-made and should last a long time. For what you’re paying, this is a better solution than constantly having to change batteries in your trail camera.
