Dries up unwanted water so fast
This dehumidifier dries up unwanted water so fast and efficient. The unit is made very robust and commercial grade. It is very portable and easy to move around. Its not very loud, so it can be used in any environment.

Long term reliability and excellent customer service
I almost never review products. The ones I do review are the standout products that I have purchased. I have had at least 15 mainstream dehumidifiers over the past 30 years. I got tired of wasting money on these disposable machines and decided to get a commercial unit. This unit is a game changer. It takes my humidity in my basement to 40% and shuts off and only runs occasionally to maintain this level. This unit is so strong it could take the humidity much lower. but that would not be a good thing for my home. The unit is very well made and is easy to maintain and do the yearly maintenance for long term use. I did a lot of research and this company kept coming up as the best choice for my large basement. I have contacted the company on numerous occasions to ask questions prior to the purchase and they were always very helpful. I believe this will solve my constant replacement of mainstream dehumidifiers and also save me on energy bills as this unit is not on all the time. I feel confident after speaking to this company on numerous occasions that this is a safe bet for my needs. So far I have had the unit running for a month and it is a really nice unit.

Is strong
This dehumidifier is strong. Feels heavy, but it rolls easy on the wheels. The handle is solid.I use it in my basement. It was really damp. In less than a day, it pulled out about 23% humidity. Big difference. Air feels dry now.Super easy to use. Plug it in, press a button, done. No need to empty water, just hook up the hose.It runs smooth. Not too loud. Built tough. Iâve used it a few times already. Works every time.If your basement is wet, this machine helps a lot. Iâm glad I got it.

App does not work
The app appears to be outdated. I cannot get it to connect to my iPhone even when trying to connect directly to the device. Directions in app contain Chinese or similar language. Directions also contain misspelled words and are confusing. Disappointing that I canât get the app to work. I would not have made the purchase if I had known about app functionality. The dehumidifier does not lower the humidity in my basement as well as another cheaper brand I am replacing.

Fast Setup, Serious PerformanceHad it up and running in under 5 minutes, and itâs been working nonstop ever since. It pulls a surprising amount of moisture from the air and keeps the space consistently dry and comfortable. Super easy to use, runs quietly, and feels like a major upgrade for any humid area. Definitely recommend.

Worth the money
My non insulated basement of my 105 year old house, despite being partially finished, gets extremely humid (80%+) in the summer months. The previously owner only left one drain and itâs not close to the main area. During heavy rainstorms some water seaps in. I got tired of the low quality, short lasting dehumidifiers you find at the big box stores. Alorair gets the job done and is backed by a reputable company with a 5 year warranty. The real reason to pay extra if youâre a home owner is the built in pump⦠the pump can travel up more than 12 feet and ejects the water outside. I used some HVAC tape to temporarily tape up the window while I run it in the summer months.

This is not your run of the mill dehumidifier designed more for form than function
This dehumidifier is designed to efficiently and effectively remove moisture from the air. It is in our 1,200 square foot unfinished basement and having no trouble keeping the humidity level at 58% (which we sat as our benchmark level). This dehumidifier is more industrial looking than the white composite ones sold in big box stores. It is heavy and is not easily moved from place to place. It is quiet, energy efficient, and has a removable filter with a metal encasement (although we also purchased two others filters). The only drawback for us is that the tubing which came with it was not long enough to reach the drain so we had to purchase a 10′ one from the hardware store for around $5 so not a big issue at all. It is simple to use and definitely designed for function rather than appearance. It does what it claims to do very well.
