You can tell this bench was manufactured with attention to detail. Not only is the stitching good quality, the seat surface material is heavy duty, not like those cheap thin vinyl ones that wrinkles when you seat on it, the cushions are thick yet comfortable, and the entire bench is sturdy, there’s zero wobble to it even with the seatback in the full flat position. Speaking of the seat back, it’s wide enough to accommodate us big fellas. Lengthwise, the bench should fit guys over 6 ft tall (although I’m not taller than that, but it looks like it should). Assembly was a breeze, just have to attach five screws, that’s it. The tools they give you, including the screws, are all heavy duty. The package with the screws even has a ruler on it (because two screws are longer than the other three, as if you couldn’t tell by looking at them, but like I said, good attention to detail by the manufacturer). The notches where the seatback rests on the different positions are curved out of the base, so they won’t snap under a lot of weight — if you’re heavy-lifting do not buy a bench that has the adjustment notches welded onto the base, that’s just an accident waiting to happen, the welding might give in and the notches will snap. I also like that it has wheels on one end, it’s lightweight enough to move around. The only thing I wish they had added to this bench is a padded foot rest to add resistance when laying flat with weights, but I saw someone devised a clever workaround on another review, which is simple enough and I’m going to try it (basically, attaching a padded foot rest where the curve of the handle is under the front seat. Overall, this is great value for money and was definitely made for heavy lifting. It looks like it should last a long time.

Simple but excellent. This bench comes nearly assembled. It’s very easy to put together with clear instructions and packing. The bench feels like something you’d find at a gym or hotel. I like the fact that you can incline/decline the bench but also incline the seat. Great value!

Wir haben erst vor nicht langer Zeit eine Hantelbank für uns gekauft, zu diesem Zeitpunkt waren unsere Ansprüche an so eine Bank aber noch gänzlich anders, vor allem auch meine. Erst seit einiger Zeit habe ich unser Sportprogramm ausgeweitet, deutlich mehr in Richtung dehnen und gezieltem Muskelaufbau vor allem im Schulterbereich bzw gesamtem oberen Rücken. Uns war sehr wichtig, dass die neue Bank nicht wackelt, also ein Gefühl von Stabilität und Sicherheit gibt, auch wenn mein Mann oder ich uns mit dem halben Oberkörper über die Bank hinaus gelegt haben. Sie sollte aber auch gut gepolstert sein, damit ich es aushalte, wenn nur eines meiner schmerzenden Knie mein Gewicht auf der Bank stabilisierend tragen muss und gleichzeitig sollte sie aber auch leicht zu transportieren sein, wenn sie woanders stehen soll, oder einfach nur beim Reinigen im Weg steht und beinahe vergessen, für diverse meiner Übungen ist es nicht hilfreich, wenn die Bank vorne irgendein vorstehendes Teil, wie eine Halterung für die Beine besitzt, denn das stört mich, weil es mir im Weg ist und bei vielen Dehnungen einfach weh tut. Die Joroto Bank erfüllt all diese Wünsche für uns. Ich kann mit ihr fast ab Taille vor dem Kopfteil der Bank mit Gewichten in beiden Händen schweben und die Bank steht wie eine 1!. Keinerlei Unsicherheit, kein Knacken oder auch nur minimales Wackeln, nicht einmal, wenn das jeweils eine Knie nicht genau in der Mitte der Bank von mir platziert wurde. Zudem fällt hier mein Blick bei dieser Übung auf den breiten Metallfuß der die Bank stabilisiert und das schaut gut aus und fühlt sich noch besser an. Trotzdem selbst ich kann diese Bank ganz leicht bewegen, sie hat vorne einen Griff und auf der anderen Seite Rollen, so lässt sie sich super leicht bewegen, wenn ich sie zB mit einem anderen Sportgerät verbinden möchte. Ich sollte vllt noch erwähnen, wir sind beide sehr groß und beide keine Leichtgewichte. Die andere Bank hat auch vieles mitgemacht, aber sie war nicht in der Lage mir dieses so wichtige Gefühl von Stabilität zu geben, die Joroto kann das. Die Polsterung ist dick, fast doppelt so dick wie die der alten Bank und fest, aber bei Belastung wie zB eben nur eines meiner Knie ist sie aber weich genug, dass ich das aushalten kann ohne dass ich noch Kissen oder zusammengelegte Yogamatten unter mein Knie legen muss. Erst nach dem Aufstellen habe ich bemerkt, dass das RückenTeil der Joroto deutlich länger ausgelegt ist, es sind ca 12cm Unterschied und die scheinen es auch zu bewirken, dass das Trainieren damit leichter zu sein scheint. Die Polsterung ist entgegen meiner Vermutung nur leicht dicker, aber offenbar irgendwie anders, denn sie fühlt sich um so vieles komfortabler an. Jedenfalls sind wir mal wieder sehr happy, dass uns erstens viele positive Rezensionen zu dieser Bank geführt haben und wir sie zusätzlich zu einem sehr günstigen Preis ergattern konnten, denn das sollte ich sicher noch erwähnen, die UVP der Joroto ist 2,5 mal so hoch, wie die der Vorgängerbank und das hier soll wirklich keine Kritik an der alten sein, sie kann nichts dafür, dass sich unsere Ansprüche so sehr geändert haben. Ebenso positiv war für uns, dass die Bank binnen 2er Tage und damit sogar früher als prognostiziert bei uns ankam. Sogar die Montage dieser Hantelbank ist einfach zu bewältigen. Diese Bank macht Lust auf Training mit ihr, ihr traue ich das Gewicht meines Mannes plus Hanteln auch wirklich zu. Wir können diese Hantelbank in jeder Hinsicht zum Kauf empfehlen, wir vergeben die höchstmögliche Wertung für sie. Very impressed with the quality and design of this bench. Premium quality, very comfortable to train with and you can easily and quickly switch between positions (declined, flat, and multiple inclined angles). You can even set an inclined position for the seating piece which makes it very comfortale to train with flat and slight inclined positions. The size is perfect (I’m 1.90m) and the minimalist design makes it fit perfectly in relatively small areas. The bench also comes almost completely installed, 5 screws and you’re done! I had a little doubt about its stability before the purchase because of the relatively narrow front leg, but that turned out to be no problem at all, this thing is stable during all excercises. In short, if you like what it offers on paper then you’ll like it more when use it. Zeker een aanrader!

This product exudes quality. It is really heavy duty, won’t fall apart in the next 10 years and feels like you could be lifting some serious, serious weight and it have no problem at all. Really happy with my purchase.
