Featuring 32 square feet of 3-ounce basis weight media made of 100-percent polyester Reemay material, this Unicel 7CH-322 Cartridge Filter for Hot Tubs ensures high performance and dependable filtration over time. The uniform pleats and Reemay media deliver higher dirt-holding capacity and more time between cleanings. Plus, the smooth surface of the media makes it easy to maintain, resists degradation from chemicals, stands strong under pressure, and holds up to the rigors of multiple cleanings. For optimal lifespan, clean the elements as per instructions and use a soft brush cleaning tool or filter cleaner for easy maintenance. Please note that the cartridge life depends on routine maintenance and spa water chemistry. Change your filter when there is a shorter cycle between cleaning, low water flow rate or high differential pressure, when the media has a tear, or if the center core collapses. The requirements for a filter are simple
and this filter seems to do its job adequately so I give it full credit for performance. The only downside is temporary – it was oily all over the hard blue plastic parts. I couldn’t see any reason why it had to be that way and I gently cleaned it before installation so I wouldn’t have an oil slick in the hot tub. The problem was easily solved and it only held me back by 10 minutes. I’ll buy another one again but I expect I’ll want to clean the next one too.

Outstanding quality. Much better than the cheap Chinese made ones these replaced. Thoughtful note left in box by the American made worker who produced these made in the USA filters. Without exception, well worth the investment if you want crystal clear hot tub water.
