Get an extra helping hand for installing cabinet doors with the Kreg Cabinet Door Mounting Jig. It makes the job of installing cabinet doors a breeze – whether you’re working with face frames or frameless cabinets. It works with both left-hand and right-hand doors. The jig features a support arm that helps you hold the door with one hand, while your other hand is free to mount the hinges to the cabinet. The Cabinet Door Mounting Jig also allows you to position your cabinet doors precisely. Adjust the support arm to one of the nine different positions to get your doors placed exactly where you want them. There’s one setting for inset doors, and eight more at 1/4″ increments, so you can support doors that overlay the cabinet face up to 2″. The Cabinet Door Mounting Jig comes with two micro-adjustment shims for even more fine-tuning. Use one shim to move the door up by 1/16″ or 1/8″ – or combine both shims for 3/16″ of adjustability.

Great invention but need to use spring clamps
Recently I did a DIY project refurbishing and hanging cabinet doors with an overlay which I have never done before. It’s incredibly difficult to get the doors even on the frame without help of someone holding the doors while you screw them in straight. This is actually a brilliant jig that facilitates hanging the doors yourself accurately and efficiently in a uniform manner.The problem I encountered was that you need to use spring clamps to hold them in place. Regular quick clamps that ratchet get in the way cause they are too long. Im sure KREG. sells some accessory that is specific for this but I don’t plan to hang a lot of cabinets in the future so I didn’t bother to buy it. Other than that this is an excellent fairly easy to use product and Im a huge fan of all Kreg brands ingenious jigs and inventions.This took away a lot of the headache and frustration of the task at hand was a real time saver and for the its so worth it!

This tool made putting my newly painted cupboard doors back on a breeze. Itâs easy to put together and understand, just need to make sure when you switch cabinet door sides, you remember which holes to put the arm back into so all doors are the same height. The smaller magnetic adjustments are great and stay on well. I did still need another person to help hold the door to screw or back on, but with some practice it could probably be done as an individual. Worth the price if youâre trying to save some money on new cabinets!

Really helps on retrofits
I bought this to help me align my cabinet doors after replacing the hinges. The new Blum compact 33 hinges have a slightly different design than the old ones and require a different wrap around plate, so it wasn’t jut a matter of replacing the cup and putting the door back. Each door had to be realigned. This made it much easier.I would give this a 4.5 star rating if I could only because the magnets that hold the shims in place could be a little stronger. As they are, I found that they were pretty easy to knock off when installing the doors and this interrupted my workflow a bit. Of course, workflow on DIY projects doesn’t carry the same weight as in production.If you want your doors to be aligned, this is a great solution.

Pude colocar yo solo una puerta de 1.95 mt, se la podria colocar algo más para que no se meneara y uno atornillar sin problemas, muy bueno.

L’idée est bonne mais l’ensemble manque de rigidité lorsque l’appareil est fixé au meuble donc manque de précision. Une latte de bois et un bon serre-joint fonctionnent mieux et reviennent mois cher!
