Nice Can – Looks great
I bought this because one of my Corgiâs favorite things to do is pull empty dog food cans out of my previous short recycle tub to chew on them. I wanted a covered recycle bin to keep her out of it. This fits the bill. I first bought recycle bags that were 33â tall. Those did NOT work. They fell down into the can & whenever Iâd try to open just the lid, the entire top would lift up. I then bought bags that are 38â tall – work perfectly and donât fall down. Only the lid lifts now and the top piece that holds the bag in place stays put. The bin was easy to put together and seems sturdy. I keep it in my garage just outside of the kitchen door, so I canât vouch for durability outside. I like that itâs covered to keep flies out of it. Itâs great in the garage and eliminates me having to run everything outside (especially in rain/snow/cold). Now I just change the bag every other week when itâs time to put the large recycle garbage can out at the curb.

Bad support bar
We would like to update the review below. The company reached out to us and was extremely attentive in making this situation right. Not only did they replace the garbage can, but they even sent us an upgraded garbage can. Their follow up was very thorough, timely, and professional. Brianna provided outstanding customer service from her first contact right up to the time we received the replacement. She even followed up after to make sure everything was up to our satisfaction. I totally respect a company that takes accountability for their products, and would highly recommend that you consider buying this product – plus it looks awesome!We love the way this looks and the ability to separate trash from recyclables. However, after one use, when we took out the bags, the middle bar that separates the two sections broke. We wish we could replace just the bar in the middle. In order to return for replacement, we need to put into a box, which means we have tfo disassemble the whole product which is too much work. There is no way to contact the seller directly. For the price, the plastic middle bar should be strong enough to last much longer than one use!! Beware of this product!!!

Durable and practical
Love this trash can. Itâs my everyday indoors trashcan. The lid is a bit hard to open for my kids but over time it wears down and gets easier. I love the tray that pulls out to clean on the bottom and assembly is super easy. Itâs dog proof too which is a plus. 10/10 would recommend.

Update!! When I first reviewed these trash cans I wasnât very pleased about how hard it was to take out the trash bag without tearing up the trash bag..East Oak company head my complaint reached out to me willing to replace my old trash cans with the new upgraded version. I was hesitant at first, but I was like sure why not. These new trash cans did not disappoint. They are nice super nice easy to clean holds lots of trash. Sides are now easier to remove trash bags no tugging no pulling no rips, no tears these trash cans are heavy duty. My kids take out trash now and they are rough on trash cans. Lol..I absolutely love these. this is the very first review that a company had reached out, to me to fix a problem. In my opinion the customer service with East Oak is outstanding they take pride in their products and in the service they provide other companies should definitely take notes. This company is passionate about their products and the quality of service they provide. I would definitely recommend these trash cans to friends and family as well as any of you who are looking for a well-made, dependable easy to clean trash can. Did I mention the bottom of the trash can slides out to clean. So no more bending all the way in the trash can to clean YAY!! These are perfect.!! Thank you!

Doesn’t work as good as it looks – but EAST OAK is very helpful
Not bad, in general – easy to assemble and looks good – but does not work well. First, is not so easy to keep the bag from falling in. They make it look simple but it’s not. More importantly, it doesn’t work well. There are two lids – one is the lid you would open to put trash inside. It’s connected to a second lid/rim that fits around the top. You open this lower lid to replace the bag. The problem is the “clip” that is supposed to hold this lower lid closed is so weak that it doesn’t stay closed. You go to open the lid to put trash in and the whole lower lid/rim opens. You open the top lid and let it swing back, and the whole rim goes with it. Very frustrating! We liked the look of the bin, but it’s not worth the money and aggravation.UPDATE: East Oak customer service got in touch with me and went out of their way to try to make this right. They sent me a slightly different model – their 31-gallon version – and it’s MUCH better. Easy to assemble – though the top needed a little extra ‘coaxing’ to get it on – and looks and works great! A simple change to the design allows the outer-lid to stay tightly closed as it should. Much more satisfied with this bin and how attentive East Oak support was with me. Thank you!

Pretty Amazing Trash Can
Love this trash can!! We bought a new RV and it is at a permanent location and was looking for an outside trash can. This is absolutely perfect!! Pretty gray color and very classy looking and sturdy.Hubby put it together pretty quickly, no issues.I read reviews and a few mentioned an issue with the lid. My family hasnât had any issue. Do not hesitate, you wonât be disappointed. ð

Pretty and good size
Easy to put together and fits 2 full 14 gallon bags comfortably. I really like this trashcan and Iâm so glad that I got it. Our condominium does not pick up trash every day. It only picks up trash every other day and there are some days when I need a back up and we cannot have ugly trash cans outside. This one is pretty and undetectable and it does the job. That was so easy to put together.

Perfect for my deck. I’ve been looking for something like this to put my cans in for recycling!My complaint is the lettered pieces are so blended into the inside it was hard to find. Insertion of the bottom piece, the “click” part broke but held together with the 3 remaining corners. The insert design could be better with a snap on square of sorts to secure the bags. Overall I’m happy with the purchase, be aware when snapping them together.
