It makes an impossible task possible
Better than a stick in the eye.It makes an impossible task possible. It only works one way so flip the head if it is not working. I verified direction on my finger and could of twisted my finger off if that was the plan. The teeth are sharp and the tool is beef cake. I have a thin wall 5/8 plastic nut. Breaking the nut was a very real possibility. The tool is a little to bulky IMO and barley fit the situation. I was able to turn the nut 1/4 of a turn after finger tight.. and done. It took less than 5 min including clearing out under the sink. It took to hands to spared the clamp and position it on the nut. Very awkward.

Works as intended!!!
Nothing to complain about. Itâs a solid basin wrench used to tighten sink screws. It requires a bit of dexterity to use but grips well. Kinda wish the teeth were a bit more crisp for a guaranteed grip.Itâs not machined for a clean grip but it still does its job as intendedâ¦

Great tool for a house owner
If you need to tighten a faucet under the sink, then this is probably “a must have”.My filter faucet got loosen and boy, I tried tighening it by my own hands, a pliers, a wrench, and I would’ve gotten a plumber, but luckily I found this tool. The faucet is located in a very inconvenient place, and only this tool did the trick, saving me a good hundred dollars for a plumber.I don’t need it on daily basis, but since it saved me quite a lot of money, I kept it.Q&A:Q: How is the quality?A: It’s excellent. The tool is sturdy and well madeQ: is is easy to use?A: yes, as long as you may reach the nut and know gow to use a wrenchQ: can I tighten and loosing nuts with it?A: yes, the head flips over, so you can loose or tighten nutsTip: you may need a helper (it was my daughter) to hold the faucet.Q: would you recommend it to a friend?A: Yes, absolutely.Buy it and keep it for the sake of fairness and great tools:)

>>> NOT USEFUL
> I recently changed both a kitchen faucet and a bathroom faucet in my home, and found no use for this tool.> On my kitchen faucet, I did not have the clearance around a nut to grab and turn it with this tool. I was able to grab the nuts with a simple mechanic’s wrench, but the nuts on the old faucet were frozen with rust, and I could not turn them.> Ultimately, I simply cut through the old faucet at counter-top level with a saber-saw (a true saber saw, not a jigsaw) with a metal-cutting blade. Then I remembered that I had done the same thing 20 years earlier, when I replaced the previous faucet. The faucets are not as massive as they seem — it is easy to cut through them with a good metal-cutting blade. You don’t have to cut through the old faucet flush with the countertop, and you don’t want to damage your countertop trying to do that. Just cut through, perhaps 3/8″ or 1/2″ above the countertop and the faucet falls apart. But, the saw blades do flop around alot, so protect your countertop with cardboard, or maybe several layers of masking tape or duct tape.> The replacement faucet was designed to be an easy install, and was with simple handtools, so this tool was not needed and would have been much harder to use.> On my bathroom sink, I could not get an angle to use the tool (because of the drain line, valves, etc. A deep mechanic’s socket on a “wobbly” extension did the job.> There are similar tools (including a “telescoping” version of this tool) which are extendable/collapsible which would probably be easier to get around obstructions. But, a deep socket, with a wobbly or flexible extension is probably better, if the socket is deep enough for your situation.> Note that deep sockets are not components of most handy-man’s tool kits, albeit a deep spark plug socket is usually included in most socket wrench sets (which is unlikely to be the size you’ll need). So, if you need to use a deep socket. You can borrow a set, or purchase a cheap deep-socket set for $15 to $20 — assuming that you already have a standard socket set with a ratchet and extensions (including a short wobbly or flexible extension).

The basin wrench is well-built with a strong grip and adjustable jaws, making it great for most plumbing tasks. The rotating head is useful for tight spaces, but unfortunately, it didnât fit my specific needs. Had to return it, but it seems like a solid tool for the right application
