Durable. Self leveling. Construction work nail gel.
Durable!!! High quality. Beautiful. Full coverage. Self leveling.I am an electrician. I work with my hands all day, every day. Iâve been searching for a way to keep my nails nice. I usually paint them with regular polish, but it ALWAYS chips within a day, and my nails always break because Iâm so rough on them at work.After a 2 week vacation, my natural nails looked healthy and long, so I decided on this gel polish and a UV/LED light to try to protect them and keep them pretty.I prepped by cutting my nails shorter(for work safety), pushing back my cuticles, drying with alcohol and lightly buffing them. I put a thin coat of the Beetles top gel-cure 60s. 1 thin layer of the pink-cure 60s. 2nd layer of pink- cure 60s. (Full coverage with 1 coat, I only did 2 thinking it would add durability). Thick layer of top gel-cure 120s. This picture is after a FULL WEEK. I worked every day. I used my nails for things at work. I jammed my finger against things. I was ROUGH on them and nothing happened. I did dishes and deep cleaning with Lysol. I gave my dog a bath. They donât even have a scratch. It blows my mind. The corner of my index finger nail did get cut yesterday by my potato peeler but thatâs not the nail gels fault. This stuff is incredible. I am going to soak off and re do, only because I want to change the color to the Beetles navy blue lol. Buy this.

I waited a few days to write this review in case my nails decided to explode as I’ve seen in other people’s reviewsI’ve been doing acrylic dip for years but got sick of all the time it took to file, so I thought I’d try something new.this is my first set with gel polish – I filed the crap out of my nails, rubbed some acetone on them, then did a base coat, 2 coats of this color, and a layer of top coat (all Beetles products). I used the SunUV lamp and cured for 90sec each coat, and I did very thin layers. also I made sure to remove any polish that got on my skin before curing!they’re still glossy 3 days later and haven’t chipped at all. I don’t have experience with other gel polishes but I found this one easy to use as a beginner. I also did my toes which I won’t be posting pics of but trust they came out great and also didn’t explodeif these last more than a couple weeks, I’ll definitely be buying more colors! I’ll update this review if any chipping occurs or whatever

I absolutely love the Beetles Gel Polish collections. The price when you talk about the smoothness of the product, the insane amount of coverage with just one swipe, the productâs ease of use, the quality, and the 15ml bottle size all for under $10?!?! This specific color is labeled as Navy, however you can see in the picture that it has a green undertone. The polish itself does reflect this as well. I used it as soon as it was delivered and was so grateful the color shown in the product image was in fact the color reflected when I painted mine. Iâve added a photo below, bare in mind I did add a white chrome effect but you can still see this is not a true blue navy, rather more of a peacock navy is what I would call it.

Bottle color doesn’t match inside color
The yellow I received does not match the picture. The bottle is yellow, the one I received is black, and other than a tiny yellow circle on the top of bottle, i didn’t see any other indication its yellow. I’ve gotten other colors from beetles and the bottles are the color of what’s inside. This bottle is also shorter, like the top where the brush is held is short making it difficult when wearing long nails cause the brush keeps touching my nails, messy.

Color is pretty but lighter than advertised.
So far so good. I only used 2 coats but probably should do three. The color is somewhat thin and lighter than advertised. I might start doing my own nails, so I took it to the salon to see how long it will last. I will update review after a few weeks.

Love Beetles Gel Polishes
Really beautiful gold glitter. Has a really good payoff. Sparkles go on evenly without much effort on my end. Really pretty over a clear base or a colored base. The bottle is small but filled to the top so you get a lot of polish. I rough up my nails with a nail file, prep, prime, base gel, builder gel (sometimes pink and sometimes clear,) this gold glitter, then a top coat. I use very thin layers making sure to wipe any excess off of my skin and cure for 120 seconds. The bottle recommends 60-90 seconds between each layer but I do longer to make sure itâs cured all the way, sometimes it feels tacky still when I do 60 or 90. Iâve noticed when I use this glitter, my gel lasts about a week longer. Typically my nails last a week and a half and each time Iâve used this they last about two and a half weeks.

Thick, must run light at least 2 cycles per layer
Must Read: I see so many reviews about nails getting infected, Iâve been doing my own gel nails years now, this polish is on the thicker side so you need to keep it under the light for at least 2 light cycles per layer. If you donât, the bottom layers Will Not dry completely and within a couple of days your nails will become infected (remove the polish immediately if they start to itch). For this polish (and any thick polish you use)you should run the light for 2 cycles at least (depending on the length of your lamp, mine is 120 seconds each cycle). Hope this helps

I absolutely love this brand of gel nail polishâit’s now my go-to choice. The quality and viscosity are excellent, allowing for a smooth and even coverage. I only need two coats for a flawless finish. Each coat is easy to apply and cures perfectly within 90 seconds under my UV nail light. I especially appreciate that it doesn’t have a strong odor like the Gelish brand. I also love the vibrant color and how glittery the polish is. After using Gelish for over a decade, I now prefer this brand.

Did my nails used the uv lamp the first time I touched anything the whole paint came off all intact. Tried again left under lamp longer same problem ! You will not need polished remiver for this. Bought a different one from the chemist.
