SIMPLY OUTSTANDING DEHUMIDIFIER
If you need a dehumidifier, the Waykar 80 Pint Energy Star Dehumidifier for Home, Basement, or Large Rooms, this is THE ONE to purchase! This is the LIGHTEST and QUIETEST dehumidifier I have ever used! The build quality is excellent – made right here in the good ole USA! It is WAY SMALLER than most humidifiers designed to remove moisture in 5,000 square feet, but it has worked BETTER to remove humidity than the larger ones I’ve owned! It’s easy to put together, and I love how they provide a way to wrap the excess chord up! In the high heat and humid area that I live in, it keeps my grand piano around the ideal 42 percent humidity ALL DAY before I have to empty the smaller and lighter drip pan. This is a great value for the money! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this GREAT DEHUMIDIFIER!!!

It is a quality de-humidifier that performs to its spec, collecting about 60 pints a day in a real life living space, 80F and 80% humidity. ( 80 pints a day in a 95F and 90% RH space, probably in a test chamber, as claimed in their ad. ) I have the unit for about 4 weeks, it runs smoothly and quietly, and consistently reducing the humidity of my living space from 72%RH to 50%RH in about 4- 5 hours.The unit is well designed, though the controls were a little bit confusing at the start, but quite functional once I got used to them. The durability of the unit remains to be seen. Hope I don’t have to use the extended 2 years warranty they offer.Overall, it is an excellent de-humidifier that I would recommend to others to consider.

I purchased the Waykar dehumidifier a few months ago and was initially very impressed. The unit is easy to set up and use right out of the box, with intuitive controls that make adjusting humidity levels straightforward. I settled on using the AUTO setting to allow the unit to modulate the humidity level based on ambient temperature. The dehumidifier operates quietly compared to many other dehumidifiers Iâve tried, which made it a good fit for use in living areas without being disruptive. Its performance was also excellent â it noticeably reduced humidity in my basement/laundry room within hours, keeping the space much more comfortable, and facilitating drying of damp clothes.Another positive is the warranty support. When I contacted customer service, they were responsive and professional, and it was reassuring to know the unit is backed by solid support.On the downside, I did notice the machine releases a moderate amount of heat while running. Itâs not overwhelming, but in smaller spaces, it can make the room feel warmer. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback was that the unit failed after about three months of use, due to a refrigerant leak. While that was disappointing, the warranty process helped mitigate the frustration in that I quickly received a totally new replacement unit.Overall, I would say the Waykar dehumidifier is a strong performer in terms of ease of use, quiet operation, and humidity control, but potential buyers should be aware of possible durability concerns. Would I buy it again? Absolutely yes⦠but this time I would opt for the extended warranty as extra insurance.

I would highly recommend this company and their products. I bought this dehumidifier and it is quiet, has multiple settings and keeps my basement at the humidity level I have chosen. The water collection bucket is a nice size and unit will shut off when full. Great customer service!!

Very Good Service
Purchased this unit and it really worked well. Very powerful and quiet. Humidity dropped down quickly to 50% and held that level. After 3 months it stopped working and displayed an error code. I contacted Waykar customer service and they responded very quickly. They replaced my de-humidifier and also sent the required materials to return the defective product. I consider this very good service.

Waykar home dehumidifier is easy to use, I drain the water with provided hose into basement floor drain, it is very quiet and easy to set desired humidity, also I have the option to let it drain into the tank and manually empty it. It has worked reliably and kept our basement room dry and comfortable. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this product over others based on the quietness factor. It really is quiet, but you might wish to keep it in another room if you are watching tv. It works well from the other room also. Ease of movement:Very easy to move. Has a little handle on the top you can pull up to carry it. It is very easy to pull out the bucket and empty it and the bucket is not very heavy. Build quality:It’s a sturdy little thing.Quality:Very good quality. It works very well. I live on ground-level facing north and we get a lot of humidity. This little unit keeps my humidity at whatever number I set it at. It is quite accurate. I have it set to go off when the correct humidity is achieved and go back on when needed. I empty the bucket once or twice a day. Noise level:No vibrating noise, but an air sound – a whoosh sound, which is unavoidable when you are moving air through something. It does not have any annoying underlying sounds. It is pretty quiet. Works well:Excellent. Works best of all I’ve ever had and I’ve had 5 or 6 different ones previously at different places that I’ve lived.Â

Purchased this unit and it really worked well. Very powerful and dehumidified easily down to 50% and was able to hold that level. This unit is light and easy to control. After 7 months it stoped working and gave an error code. I contacted Waykar and they are replacing it. This is good service.

I was very pleased with this machine during its 16 month lifespan. It was a powerhouse in my approx. 800 square foot basement apartment. It’s quite loud (when you’re in the same room as it) but tolerable as the noise was just pushed air with no overbearing motor sound. Like a powerful floor fan on high. Unfortunately it suddenly started freezing over, rendering it almost completely ineffective.Even though I was 4 months out of warranty, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to Waykar. After some back and forth via email, it was determined that the machine was toast. They offered me a brand new unit even though they had zero obligation to do so. They suggested a different model which I did try, but it didn’t work out in my space. They’ve now offered me another model as sadly this one is out of stock. My fingers are crossed I will like it as much as I did this one and that I will get more than a year’s use of it! I am fully confident that their amazing customer service will be there to help me should I experience any problems again. It’s due to that customer service that I would recommend this brand to others. They obviously care greatly about their customers satisfaction. Such a thing seems to be rare these days.

We have loved that you can control the humidity level with multiple different levels and the wide space it works in! Our machine stopped working this summer and I reached out to customer service, they were nothing but amazing! The Wayfar dehumidifier arrived very quickly on the day after placing the order. After allowing the unit to acclimatize for 24 hours we turned it on and it has been running almost constantly for the past week. The unit is sleek, compact and quiet enough so that it does not interfere with conversation or the TV volume. However, the instruction manual leaves much to be desired in that it contains multiple spelling and grammatical errors to the point where some instructions are confusing and incomplete.Overall we are happy with the performance of the unit. So far, it seems to be doing a good job extracting moisture from the air as we have to empty the water bucket at least twice a day and condensation on our windows has been reduced. I would have given “easy to use” five stars if the operating instructions in the user manual had been more clear.

First one I received the drain hose didn’t work and reservoir was too small filled up completely in under an hour so no one is going to empty every hour and when I tried hose it didn’t work. They sent me another one to replace and didn’t have to return and this one works great thanks.
