Easy Install, great product, but beware of spacing
Great product, worked very well on our outdoor patio, easy connection to google home and easy installation. Will advise that you may end up working backwards once you get to last strand to get spacing better, we did but was easy to fix amd correct.

Very good product
I love this brand. I have purchased many products from this company and have been very pleased with every single item. The only thing I wish they would add is more of the sticky backs for the lights. One of the lights fell because the sticky fell off and they only provide 3 extra ones. Other than that, I would certainly recommend these lights to anyone. I even bought a set for my brother to put on his house.

Make sure to mount light shining down not out on beveled siding.
Like the lights and easy to use and change via Alexa. If you are handy, easy to shorten/remove extra wire between lights for a cleaner look, but make sure to get the polarity correct.If mounting on beveled siding, use a piece of inverted siding to level the lights and have them point down properly otherwise you end up with the lights shining out and not washing the wall properly.

Setup & Installation: Iâm not handy so I hired a handy man. Took the guy almost 3 hours to install. Not sure if he did this in purpose.Features & PerformanceOnce connected to the Govee Home app, the fun began. The lights are super customizable:You can set scenes (like âsunset glowâ or ârainbow waveâ).You can create your own color patterns.You can dim the light set it as bright as you want. All on the app.You can sync them to music, which is a fun party trick.They even have scheduling options, so they turn on automatically at dusk.DurabilitySo far, theyâve held up perfectly through wind, rain, and desert dust. Theyâre rated IP67 waterproof, and Iâve had no flickering or dimming even after a few rough wind storms here. Thatâs a huge win.Theyâve totally changed the vibe of my backyard, and I get compliments constantly. Great for entertaining, relaxing, or just making your patio feel like an outdoor lounge.Itâs quite pricey so wait until Amazon prime day to get it. I regretted for not waiting until Prime day.I set my light very dim like in the picture on daily basis since these could get very bright and I donât want my neighbors complaining about how bright they are.

Do not buy due to power receiver!
Do not buy this. Outdoor lights with an indoor plug. First bit of rain fried the wall plug. Should have a rain safe plug when marketed as outdoor lights. Very disappointing.Aside from that, the lights are excellent. I am disappointed that I will need to spend money on a new outlet plug in order to use them. Very inconvenient to have to take it out and unplug it, bring it inside for every use. Unfortunate for an otherwise good product.

Cool colors, nice brightness, tedious setup.
Everyone asks me about these lights whenever they visit. Iâm super happy with them after installing them.The install process is a little tedious, and I am not a fan of how the cable needs to be wrapped in order to âstring these along.â If your plug is on the right side of where these are installed then you actually lose inches on this thing for ever set you connect, which ultimately means you lose feet⦠my install of these included a plug on both the right side and left side, so my run on the left turned out longer than my run on the right for the same amount of lights.Overall the best part is, once they are set up, itâs super easy to choose colors and program these. I run them every night from about 5:30pm (in the winter) until 7:30am and our electric bill hasnât gone up significantly based on this (weâre talking a few dollars).I hope these last for a very long time. Theyâre so fun and add a bit of security to our backyard!

Impressed!
I will say for being outside for almost a year I am quite impressed on how these lights have held up. Build quality seems to hold up, the light output and color rendition is right on and the fact that I can see these on my home assistant instance makes these worth it. The app took some getting used to but once I figured out how it works I was able to achieve my goal. The only limitation is the automations portions, needs a little bit more work on conditional statements and the ability to add those statements to conditions. For example have the lights run this scene at a set time but when motion is detected by their motion sensor run this scene and when motion expires say after 5 min run scene set originally. But thatâs the app not this product which is why I give the product 5 stars. Had an issue with the power adapter going bad but Govee support took care of it quite fast. I am impressed. Will buy more! Picture is with lights at 5% brightness, providing a nice ambient glow. Had fun with them during the holidays.
