Works with Jayco Redhawk entry door with one easy modification
I got the 20 inch 10lb unit for my Jayco Redhawk entry door as the old one had a broken seal and could no longer hold the door open. This one fits perfectly except I had to switch the old ends on the old door strut with the new ends on the new door strut. So don’t throw your old one away until you switch the ends. The reason for switching the ends is the ends that comes on the new one are a little bit larger and prevent the door from shutting. The ends just screw on (you may need a pliers). Once I swapped the ends the strut went right on and my door is now held open as expected.

Stable
30 pounds is a bit much but works on my Rv door.

Very easy to replace. Can’t speak to the longevity. So far so good

Nice OEM RV Door Strut…..
East to install. Ten Pound lift is perfect for a standard RV Door Opens the door slowly and has just enough Emph to keep the wind from moving the door when open. There is just the right amount of effort required to pull the door handle to close the door. I would not go over ten pounds lift for a RV door as anything higher will require too much effort to pull the door shut from inside the RV. Works exactly like my old strut when the RV was new. Very happy with purchase

Replacement for my rv door.

Had to swap ends
I had to unscrew the new end off the main body end and swap with the end from the original one because the new end was too think for the door to close. Works great.

Appears to be excellent quality. My original broke when the wind caught the door and I had a tough time finding a replacement with the right pressure. It is strong enough to hold the door open on my camper but not so strong as to make it hard to close. Would definitely buy again!
