Great addition to Meta Quest!
Great stand for Meta Quest. The kit came with rechargeable batteries, stand, and magnetic usb adapter. I replaced the regular batteries with the rechargeable ones and it worked flawlessly. The dock has color changing LED lights to indicate charging and charging completed mode. It also has a magnetic detachable USB-C adapter for charging the head unit. Charging times were not affected and very efficient. Iâm happy with the stand/charging station.

Great, Streamlined Charging Dock, Minor Occasional Issue but Absolutely Worth It
Overall, I absolutely recommend this product. I would get it again. The lights look really nice as a gaming setup accent, and it’s nice to keep my headset and controllers constantly charges, since I play daily. Though it’s a great quality overall, on rare occasion the cord to charge the headset itself won’t activate, indicated by the lack of orange charging light when plugging it in. If I unplug and plug the source back in for the whole charging unit, it works again with no problem. It’s a great investment for the frequent VR gamer. I use a battery pack with fan that requires being charged into the main headset port, so I have to unplug it fully and then plug in the main charger of the unit. However, if you don’t have a battery pack accessory, something really neat about this is that the headset connection is magnetic so no need to constantly plug in and out for that part. The controllers also just sit right in after the initial set-up for the rechargeable battery change. It becomes totally wireless charging which is easy and convenient.

Perfect for Quest 3! Love the Low Profile!
I like how compact this charger is for the Quest 3 VR set. I purchased another one a month or two ago and it sits up higher than this one, but itâs hard to keep the charger port in place for that one. Also, it included the rechargeable batteries and the little cover, but one of them I couldnât get to shut correctly and therefore it wouldnât charge. So I got this one in hopes that it would work better. I have to say that it does work a lot better! I like that is low profile so that the Headset doesnât weigh it down and have it fall off of the higher profile device. This sets perfectly on and doesnât have it lean back then you can just lay the controllers into the charger and it tells you which one is left and right. There are a little holes where they lay right into the grooves because they are magnetized. So as soon as they get close to this area, it just accepts it into those grooves due to the magnet that attracts the hand controllers to lay into the groove. So no more sliding around and not knowing itâs in the wrong spot. This has a USB â C to USB â C cord so it is fast charging. The lights on the outside and in the cradle show you if the battery is still charging or if it is ready. You know whether itâs ready or itâs charging by the color Which is either red or green. So again this works great and Iâm so excited about how compact it is for the Quest 3. My son likes it a lot better than the other one.

Compact and charges great!
This is a well made charging dock that doesn’t look or feel cheap. It comes with the USB C cable and the charging block to plug it in with unlike others that don’t come with a charging block, rechargeable batteries for both controllers and the handle covers for the battery compartments on the controllers that fit snugly in the dock. It has a short connector cable for charging the headset via a magnetic quick connect plug. That is very easy and convenient! It even comes with an extra magnetic charging plug for the headset in case you lose one! I love it!

Easy Setup, Smart Charging, Bright Green Light
This is a very nice charger for my Quest 3. It was easy to set up. I am not one for reading directions and was a bit puzzled on how I’d charge my controllers, but as I started unboxing all the pieces that came with it, I was surprised to see everything that was provided. It is quite nifty how they did it; they provided two rechargeable AA batteries. So how do you recharge them? They also provide a L and R cover for the battery compartment on the controllers. You take off the stock cover and replace it with the one they give you. Each cover has little metal (?) nubs that aligns perfectly with the charger’s controller cradles. You can hear them click into place and the batteries within the controllers start charging. Pretty thoughtful! The Quest charges quickly. My only nit is that the green light emanating from the unit is super bright! So beware if you charge your quest in your bedroom. You won’t be needing a nightlight.

Ok charger, but has its flaws.
Good charging dock, though I am a little dissapointed in how they go about the charging. I wish they would use the pogo pins rather than a fiddly magnetic charger. It comes with 2 usb-c charger adapters that you can plug in and it magnetically attaches to the cable to charge the headset. That means if you want to use a link cable or plug it into a wall charger while playing, then you have to remove the adapter out, increasing the risk of losing them. What gets me, is that there are holes in the stand for where the pogo pins are on the headset, but they just opted not to use them. Makes no sense to me. The batteries for the controllers are ok though, but super light, and I don’t think hold near the charge that even a normal AA battery holds. They tell you in the instructions too that the batteries for the controllers will never read above 90% battery level which is odd. I guess since they are rechargeable though, its not a huge deal and its not like they are going to die with even a full days use before charging them again.I will say the charge lighting has been false for me too so far. I set everything up and it was all orange indicating the it was all charging. Then everything went green after a while, so I put on my headset to see, and one of the controllers was at 40% battery, but the headset and other controller were charged properly. The issue is, that the controller light was green meaning charged, but it wasn’t really. All three lighting areas are independent to indicate charge, so that should have stayed orange and not turned green.Outside of that, it does work, and gives you a place to set the headset down after use. Just wish they had ironed out some of the issues and it would have been a stellar product!
