【SIMPLE OPERATION, JUST 4 STPES TO COMPLETE】Step 1: Prepare a 12V backup battery. Step 2: Turn off the vehicle power, connect the OBD2 end of the BTMS to the vehicle interface, and connect the crocodile clip to the 12V backup battery. Step 3: After the connection is successful, the two LED indicators will light up green. Step 4: The existing vehicle battery can be removed and ensure that all vehicle information data and presets are still retained when the vehicle is started. Note: The red clip is connected to the positive pole and the black clip is connected to the negative pole.

Works great for keeping memory
This tool helps prevent KAM loss during a battery replacement. Some vehicles have lots of issues when the battery is disconnected. You may lose radio settings or lock out some systems. This could result in a costly visit to the dealership. I’ve been a professional technician for about 2 years now and have only run into a handful of vehicles where this tool is necessary. Regardless, it’s a great tool that does the job.
