Its Corsair so you know its good
Amazing power supply includes all cables i could possibly need for my build. the 12v Rail produces constant even power levels that my GPU truly enjoys. Having owned several corsair products in the past I am confident in the build quality of this unit and have yet to have any power issues at all, installation is simple and it did include the screws and zip ties for cable management. this power supply has wonderful performance and provides a great value for the price as one should expect from Corsair.

Quiet, Efficient, and Future-Ready
The CORSAIR RM850e (2025) is everything I wanted in a high-performance PSU. Itâs compact, fully modular, and the fan rarely kicks on, and when it does, it’s whisper-quiet, exceeded my expectations Installation was smooth, cable management was clean, and the build quality is top-tier It also comes with plenty of cables, if you’re looking for performance, silence, and reliability, this PSU delivers grate value

Handles My i9-12900KS + RTX 3090 Rig Without Breaking a Sweat
Iâve been building PCs for over a decade, and this is easily one of the most impressive power supplies Iâve used to date. I picked up the CORSAIR RM850e (2025 revision) as part of a rebuild centered around an Intel i9-12900KS and RTX 3090, and Iâve been nothing but impressed so far.Build Quality & Design:The unit itself is solid â heavy in a reassuring way, with a clean black finish and no unnecessary branding or flashy extras. The fully modular design is a huge plus, especially for managing cables in a tight mid-tower. I appreciated that the included cables were all black and flat â easy to route behind the motherboard tray, and they look clean without custom sleeving.Installation & Cabling:Installation was simple, and everything fit snugly. Iâm using the standard 3x 8-pin for the 3090, but itâs nice knowing the 12V-2×6 cable is included in case I upgrade to a future PCIe 5.1 card later on. No loose connectors, no weird bends required â and unlike some modular PSUs Iâve dealt with, the ports on the unit are clearly labeled and firmly seated.Performance & Stability:Despite powering a very power-hungry setup, this PSU hasnât flinched once. The 12900KS, even under boost/load, can be a voltage-hungry CPU, especially paired with the 3090 â but even during max load stress testing (Cinebench + Heaven benchmark running together), rails stayed completely stable, no crashes or brownouts, and no sign of power-related instability.Noise & Efficiency:Corsair nailed the noise levels. During idle and light gaming, the fan doesn’t even spin up. Even when it does under load, itâs so quiet it fades into the background of my other case fans. My case has good airflow, but the fan curve on this PSU is genuinely impressive. Itâs also Cybenetics Gold rated, and the system draws power very efficiently â I’ve been monitoring wattage via a smart plug, and it lines up well with published benchmarks for power efficiency.Extras & Future-Proofing:ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 ready105°C-rated Japanese capacitors (a must for long-term reliability)Modern Standby support works perfectly â fast wake times, zero sleep issues in Windows 11Final Thoughts:For anyone running a high-end system like mine â especially with power-hungry components like the i9-12900KS and RTX 3090 â this PSU offers peace of mind. No coil whine, no overheating, no second-guessing whether itâs enough. Itâs quiet, efficient, and built with headroom for future GPUs thanks to the included 12V-2×6 cable and compliance with the latest standards.Highly recommend if youâre building or upgrading a performance-focused rig and want something thatâll last.

My favorite power supply to use
I love these power supplies, I think they are the highest quality for this wattage. They look very nice and fit both builds that I have used these for. The cooling for the unit appears to be efficient and during use is quiet (you notice other components make noise before this PSU). These units run for a long time and work well to power mid tier to high tier parts. Just make sure the power supply has sufficient wattage using a PC wattage calculator available online. I think these are the perfect power supply and would use these in every build.

Very energy efficient
The best PSU I ever bought. Very sleep look and the performance is perfect for what I need. Very light weight and durable quality. Speed wise it’s excellent and extremely quiet. Definitely worth the buy.

Good psu
It’s worked well and it is a very good wattage for very good price. It gets pretty hot but the built-in fan works pretty well. It isn’t that noisy either.

Rock-Solid, Future-Ready PSU with Quiet Operation
This PSU is exactly what I was looking for. The CORSAIR RM850e is super quiet, runs cool, and has all the modern connections I need â including the new 12V-2×6 cable for next-gen GPUs. Itâs fully modular, which made my build way cleaner and easier to manage.I love that itâs ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 ready, so I donât have to worry about upgrading anytime soon. It just feels like a really solid, well-built unit. If you’re doing a new build or upgrading, this power supply is a no-brainer.

really like it, does its job, easy to install.
installed it very easily, took about 30 minutes to unplug my old one and install the new one. used a YouTube video, easier than the instructions. it comes with zip ties for cable management. the only thing is that the cables are all over the place, can be managed with the zip ties tho.

This is my first modular PSU and I’m impressed with it, it’s so much easier to attach everything piece by piece. I trust corsairs quality since my last psu was from them. I really like the click sound it makes when the computer turns off because it’s the sound of a relay being switched. I’m not what the difference is than other PSU but I like it

It’s a bit overkill for my 5080 and x3d cpu but whatever. A must have for never high end gpu’s because of the pcie 5.1 and atx 3.1. 12v (2×6)

Very quiet, gold rated PSU, never cheap out on your PSU.

When I decided to upgrade my system, one of my priorities was making sure I had a power supply I could completely trust. Iâve had bad experiences in the past with budget PSUs causing coil whine or even random shutdowns, so I didnât want to take any chances this time. I chose the Corsair RM850e because of the reputation Corsair has for reliability, and because 850 watts seemed like the right balance for a build with a high-end CPU and GPU without overpaying for excess wattage. The install process was smooth. The fully modular cables made cable management so much easier, and the flat black cables blend nicely into my case. Once everything was hooked up, the system booted instantly with no issues. Under load, the PSU is practically silent, most of the time I canât even tell the fan is running. Iâve stress-tested my PC with gaming sessions that push both the CPU and GPU, and the RM850e hasnât flinched once. For me, reliability is the number one thing I want from a PSU, and this one gives me total confidence.
