Cannot adjust under tension
These straps are thick, strong and will absolutely last long periods outdoors. Unfortunately, the adjustment mechanism is such that the length cannot be changed while under tension. If using a hammock with an integrated Ridgeline (like the ENO Junglenest) you cannot apply enough tension to keep the Ridgeline taut like you would be able to with the Helios straps.This is the only ENO product I’ve bought that I will most likely never use, as it does not fit my use case. If you have a large hammock you want to set up in your back yard and leave there, these are great. If you’re looking for a micro-adjustment set of straps that are wide enough for some state parks that require over 1″ straps, these straps simply will not work.
