Solid screws for outdoor projects â box looks light but itâs all there
My husband used these to put up the fence in our backyard and they worked perfectly. The star/Torx drive made driving them in smooth with no stripping, and the epoxy coating gives extra peace of mind for outdoor use.At first, we were a little worried because the box looked half empty, but donât be alarmed â it really is a 5 lb box. We weighed it ourselves and it came out exactly right.

Best for attacking boards.
I’ve been using these screws for decades. They perform well. I’m currently building a privacy fence and using these screws to fasten the boards to cross members. They last and keep the boards in place much better than nails. The star drive doesn’t wear out like Phillips or square drive. Easy adjustments or replacement of boards.

Screws are great but wacky delivery experience
I use screws over nails almost exclusively and these are great screws. Iâve used lots of the Deck plus brand. I particularly like the torx heads and they self tap pretty good.Weird estimated delivery dates though. When ordered, it was supposed to be a 2 day delivery. After I ordered, it was changed to 3 days after date of order, than 4 days. This irritated me because I needed them fasted than that.Ended up being delivered 2 days after order. Not sure what was up with that.I bought the brown ones because they were $10 cheaper than the green ones. I guess nobody likes brown. Color doesnât bother me. They work just as well as the other colors ð
