What is the difference between Dual Motion Detection and Single Motion Detection?
Other doorbells only have one sensor, radar or passive infrared (PIR) for object detection. Video Doorbell S330 includes both sensors to take advantage of heat and wound wave sensing, reducing false alarms by 95%.
How does Facial Recognition work?
When the AI sees a face, it uses algorithms to recognize the person as someone you have told it to remember. If recognized, you’ll get a notification of who’s at your door before you check the video.

Greatest doorbell I have used
I got this doorbell and the previous wiring had a transformer that wasnât putting out enough juice after replacing the transformer with a 24V one I hardwired it and it works great. Love the dual camera setup too the front one gives you a nice wide angle view of the whole front of the house and the other one points down where Amazon or other carriers deliver the packages. It covers most of my front porch easy to detect packages and a clear good quality camera. I also love that thereâs no subscription fees or anything like that everything gets stored on your home base which is great. You can choose not to wire it the battery lasts couple of months then you have to recharge but I recommend just hard wiring the thing and not have to worry about charging. The sound quality is also decent itâs got a little bit of a lag but you can clearly hear and speak to someone thatâs outside the door with the eufy app. Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this product only wish it was a bit cheaper.

I will purchase another Renewed unit for a friend
Stats: I have an Android device. Doorbell purchased as a Renewed unit. I also purchased a renewed Eufy doorlock.The doorbell and the Eufy app are just fine. I will purchase units for 2 friends that are about to move to a new home. The doorbell itself looks high end. I wish there was a symbol of a bell to be placed on the corresponding button. A handful of folks have pressed on the camera circle not knowing the lower circle is the actual doorbell button. This button does light up but not until you ring it.The base also works fine however, the sound of the bell sounds low end. Maybe this, is an effect of the “renewed” status.LOVE the fact that when viewing a live feed, from that same window, you can speak and unlock the door lock. To achieve this last item, you have to purchase Eufy door lock. The live feed has a second delay or so, not bad at all. The notification on your phone that the doorbell has been rung, also has a 1 or 2 second delay. I don’t have a basis for comparison but this seems VERY reasonable.I would recommend this product and the Renewed condition.

Awesome front door camera in 2k HD!
After countless tries unable to sync doorbell to Homebase 2, I called and spoke with a wonderful tech support person. They discovered the Homebase 2 was defective and would not work at all. I am pleased to say they immediately owned the issue from start-to-finish offering warranty service to replace the item. My disappointment though and why I gave a 4-star rating is because initially the Homebase failed. ** In conclusion though, a day later, I learned I can sync it to my Homebase 3 unit and so the doorbell camera is currently in service!I used the 15-degree mount to include see more of left camera view.

Bad customer experience and support
I purchased this product in January 2023 and noticed that the packaging lacked the detachment tool. At the time, I didn’t consider it a major concern, assuming I could easily acquire the tool later. During the first charge, the battery lasted about 100 days, and I managed to detach the product using a small screwdriver I had on hand. However, on subsequent attempts, it became challenging, prompting me to reach out to the company for a replacement.Eufy Home initially responded using an AI tool, which misunderstood my issue, thinking I wanted a full replacement. After several interactions, they correctly identified my problemârequesting the detachment tool. Unfortunately, their response was unexpected; they claimed the product had no warranty, and they couldn’t provide a replacement part. This surprised me, as a company selling high-priced home cameras should address a minor problem like providing a detachment tool. Despite the camera’s decent performance in recognizing objects and functioning well in dim light, the lackluster customer support and failure to address a simple issue led me to rate this product poorly.

This is my second Eufy doorbell and I’m pleased.
I’m content with my second Eufy battery doorbell purchase. Before this, I briefly tried the Aqara G4 doorbell for its native HomeKit support, but its poor battery life and poor camera footage review option in the Apple Home app led me back to Eufy. I opted for the Eufy dual cam doorbell with Homebase 2 and battery backup. Setup was easy, but I wish my other three cameras were Homebase 2 compatible. It integrates well with Alexa and Google Home, with a more robust integration in Alexa for chime and live view on button press. I’ve connected my doorbells to HomeKit via Homebridge for Apple TV notifications. My only gripes are the dual cam doorbell mount feeling cheap compared to my 1080 doorbell, and the doorbell casing being a fingerprint magnet. Despite these, I’d recommend it for a subscription-free battery doorbell.

Worked great for a couple months…
Worked great for a couple months. 2K resolution was nice during the day but night vision was terrible. Couldn’t see someone outside past 10 feet. Anyhow the camera stopped working after a couple months. Would still get alerts, quick picture but blurred, and no activity. Contacted tech support and got the 3×5 card response and garble. Being an IT installer for almost 30 years I should have know better. Will not be purchasing eufy ever again. Stick with trusted brands like Ring, Nest, Hikvision, etc…

I probably have a faulty device because the battery of my doorbell doesnât last more than a one month even with battery saving features activated and motion detection deactivated and in warm summer time! This so annoying! But the worst part is that Eufy refuses to replace or refund because they say that the warranty period only lasts 3 months which contradicts to their official warranty policy from their website! So this probably will be my last experience with Eufy!
