Yes. This light is applicable to both eave mounted and wall mounted. For the detailed installation instructions, you can find in the manual book.
Why does this light turn on in daytime in Auto/D2D mode?
Step1: Make sure you have set the light in Auto/D2D mode not in other mode.
Step2: Check the LUX setting. If the LUX is higher than installation environment, it will turn on when it is detected in daytime. You should lower the LUX setting.
Why does this light turn on and off continuously in Auto/D2D mode at night?
Step1: Check the LUX setting. If the LUX is very low, it will turn on and off when it is detected at night. You should higher the LUX
Step2: Make sure the brightness sensor is faced down and will not be influenced by other bright light source

LUX: control knob for brightness sensitivity. The LUX switch was designed to set the brightness value for the sensor. If the ambient brightness is higher than your setting, it’s defined as “daytime” and the outdoor motion sensor light doesn’t turn on; if the brightness is lower than your setting it is defined as “night” and your light will turn on

UPDATE #2!! 6/25After over a year of use I am pleased to say that this light is still shining bright! I would not hesitate to purchase this light again (if I ever need to replace this one). Under eve mounted on the house corner, this thing goes thru extreme sun and blowing rain and has no issues whatsoever. Great product!UPDATE!!Upon seeing my review the seller contacted me and sent a new light that I have installed and tested and works as it should now. Great communication and actions by the seller for solving this problem quickly and easily! Super bright lights that cover the area well and great motion detection with a properly working shut off time. Happy customer now!I must have gotten one of the latest ones that others have had problems with. Replaced another motion detection light with this one, install is straight forward with no issues. Lights are bright and shine well. With that said, those are the only 2 positives. Auto mode detects movement then stays on…continuously…never turns off unless using the switch. D2D again stays on continuously no matter how bright the day. The only way I am going to use it is with the Test mode as it detects motion and then the light goes off after 10 seconds. Buyer Beware!

Have had for 3+ months and has worked great. No issue with install and been impressed with functionality. Sometimes it seems to be extra sensitive to motion (a slight breeze to a tree branch can set it off some times), but rather have it be extra sensitive then miss actual activity.

Best motion light I’ve ever purchased
This product is superb, thanks to its somewhat unique design and great price. I’ve had to buy a number of such lights over the years, this one is the best so far, hands down. The price is amazing, but the features and the flexibility of the two lights make this a great choice. Most outdoor lights don’t have the range of motion of these two OLD ring lights. They can be positioned straight down, which is required these days by many HOAs. Or they can be rotated and angled into nearly any necessary position. It is easy to install, but my tip is to spend the extra few minutes to install the bracket that comes with the unit if you are replacing an older light. I didn’t, making the stupid assumption the screw would work, and it didn’t. So I had to start from scratch and remove the old bracket, and the new one with this unit worked perfectly. Great, step-less controls for light duration and sensitivity, plus a unique control over lumens, which doesn’t alter the output of the lights but rather allows control over the light’s ability to operate under ambient conditions at, say, dusk vs. Dark. Good looking, small, but very powerful. An excellent product.

Great at night but no so much in the daytime
Works great at night. Cut on and off as it should when motion is detected but during the daytime, it stays on and never turns off. Not sure whatâs going on.

Excellent eave mountable light solution. Light comes with Sansi’s excellent mounting hardware kit….super simple to install.I put this light up in 19° January winter weather….and it took about 20 minutes.I set the LUX setting to the halfway point for AUTO Mode, timer halfway for approximately 5 minutes of illumination upon motion detection event, and the sensitivity at max setting.As you can see by the attached video, the light detected my motion at about 160 degrees and approximatly 30 feet from the unit….Light is bright (This is the 4000 lumen varient) and the left and right led light pods are extremely adjustable…..I could not be happier with the initial performance. At this juncture, I highly recommend this motion sensing floodlight from Sansi.

I bought two of these light sets for the back of my house and have used them for a couple of nights. I take my dog out at night and like the convenience of motion detectors. I bought the 25W version and they provide plenty of light. The motion detectors and setting controls for time and amount of light before the lights come on seem to work fine. The installation was pretty easy using the supplied parts. The quality of the product seems good and I feel pretty confident I will get a few years of use from these lights. I will likely fine tune the position of the lights and motion detectors, and the sensitivity levels, and appreciate that the lights offer a pretty good range of control over their use.
