God tier mouse
I was a little worried that I wouldn’t like any other mouse because it’s been next to impossible to find anything quite like a G700. My friend suggested the G700S. After a weekend on this one, I’m pretty confident this will be the last mouse I own. There’s so many designs out there and so few of them are comfortable. This is the only shell design for a mouse that is comfortable for me. There’s basically no difference in the ergonomics from the 700 to the 700S. Same button layout, same weight. God tier gaming mouse. No improvements needed.

Mines garbage, but dont let that deter YOU!
The mouse came in a badly damaged shipping box with no protective packaging materials. It was pretty much just saran-wraped. The mouse rattles like a maraca and does not fully function, unacceptable! On top of that, it came with a huge weird white stain all over it, im dead ******* serious.That being said. The mouse itself is great! Well with the exception of the non functional buttons, and intermittent cutting out. From what I could get out of my obviously defective product spurred my decision to purchase a brand new g700s. Not a “certified refurbished” unit.Lesson learned, buy new. Well, there gonna take it back so its really just a slight inconvenience I suppose.

Mouse Button Issues – Search for “Logitech Mouse Button Fix”
I have had this mouse for a bit over a year now and it has been great up until now. However, I am beginning to run into non functioning LMB and RMB. They work when they want and when they work they will sometimes multi click way more than once. I took to the internet to see what was up with that and low and behold there are 100’s of people having the same issues. There are even tutorials on how to fix this. My previous mouse was the 700 and had zero issues over the 5 years+ that I had it (probably got lucky). I gave it 3 stars because while I had it, it performed how I expected and I was very happy with it. The -2 is because of the mouse button issue that a lot of people are having with most Logitech mice in general. Perhaps if Logitech would stop using the crappy copper springs this wouldn’t be a review. My last Logitech for a while …PS. I had to set up a firewall rule blocking the programming software because it would not stop using the internet. Not sure what it was doing every 30 seconds. Perhaps that should be another star off. IDK.

The mouse is awesome, works good
The mouse is awesome, works good. I use it mainly for programming, cut and paste etc on the mac.Problem:The battery doesn’t last long, why? Because the mouse is incapable of fully charging the the NIMH battery. Throw the battery into a real charger and you’ll get a weeks worth of battery or more. If they fixed that problem it would be great, but not many USB ports can deliver over 2amps to one slot without having to share that 2amps.Great mouse, just beware of the battery problem.

Refurb unit was certainly worth the money I paid for it.
Good mouse, loved it so much I had to buy an extra one for my Mac. I use 2 of these, one for my Gaming PC and one for my iMac. I’m also thinking about buying one for work! I purchased this refurbished from Amazon, it appears to be cleaner and newer feeling than my current mouse so thats a plus!

DONT GET REFURBISHED
The scroll wheel came not working properly. I just either recommend getting it new on sale or paying full price. Refurbished is not good at all and was basically a joke. Returning was easy. Standard amazon return. Got the new mouse (brand new) and the mouse is worth it. Good poling and not over done on thumb buttons. Get the new save yourself the trouble. It also came dirty. “Certified Refurb” quality is really bad!

I have had this mouse for around 7 months. It would only hold a charge for at max 30 minutes when brand new and now less than 1 minute unplugged. The left mouse button stopped working.and today the right mouse button stopped working and now the thing wont move to the right without stuttering. It is by far the worst Logitech mouse I have ever owned and I have had several.
