Supplements my Bose headphones. I have found these to more as well, and easier to use when I go to noisy environment. Have found the battery life, when used only for noise reduction to be six (6) to eight (8) hours on a 100 percent charge. The carrying case acts also as a charge unit. The case has its only rechargeable battery. Have recharged the carrying case in less than one (1) hour.The design fits my ear(s) without discomfort. The item ships with different sized ear buds, to accommodate individual’s ear canal.Sound quality is excellent, can be used as no sound reduction (just as an ear bud), noise reduction (with and without, say music), and what is called aware mode (which amplifies the surroundings (for those who may not hear something while concentrating on something else)).

One Major Design Flaw to Consider
First, I want to say the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds 2024 are easily the most comfortable I’ve ever had. The sound is great (not a audiophile here, so strictly an objective opinion) And the noise cancellation is, far and away, better than expected. All this is why I’ve tried everything to work through a major design flaw.All the reviews praise these buds, only mentioning (almost as an aside) that there are connection issues. Also, many purchaser reviews play down this problem – only commenting about one side or the other temporarily losing connection (an occasional glitch with many brands)What they’re missing is that all of these reviews seem to be using the buds while engaged in some activity (eg: gym, running, walking, etc). When sedentary (ie: motionless, lying down or reclining) the Bose Buds will consistently lose their connection. I’ve even tried to disable in-ear detection (the option to do so not offered by Bose). Using tape over the in-ear sensor, I’ve found that the buds still seem to require some motion to “stay alive”.I am currently awaiting delivery of my 3rd replacement earbuds and am really hoping that at some point Bose will try to do something about this in a future firmware update.– Update –The following (in brackets) I submitted to Bose today to try to solve the issue I was having<< I am now on my 4th pair of Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (gen 2) 2024. This latest replacement has proven to be the best functioning so far. The primary problem, however, still persists.In doing some testing I believe a possible a clue to the cause of my most nagging issue has shown up. My primary use of the earbuds is for meditation (ie: while wearing them my head is almost entirely motionless). It appears that the buds are designed to detect movement and that a lack of motion causes one or both of the buds disconnect periodically.Testing this hypothesis during a few listening sessions, I made a point of moving my head every 10 minutes. By doing so, I was able to listen without interruption through several tests (one of then for an hour & 45 minutes). Of course, having to concentrate on moving my head is no acceptable solution. >>- – After reviewing my query, I was informed that this is, indeed part of their design and nothing can be done. The fact that it’s a problem that many have mentioned in You-tube reviews and online comments was not addressed. My conclusion is that Bose is now a company trading on its past reputation and should be avoided. Thus – for obvious reasons – I’ve reduced my rating to 1 star (zero is not an option here)

Have been using the earbuds for three months. I’ve bought these after returning another brand, high end earbuds due to bad fit, noise leakage and consequently bad sound. Back to Bose then, based on past experience with Bose QC-30. The Quitcomfort earbuds fitted quite well, the small wings gave extra security. I used them in the office and outdoors. The awareness mode helps to communicate with the outside world, cancelling outer world noise substantially when switching to quit mode. The sound is a little bassy, what I like and natural and transparant for the mis and higher frequencies. Obviously a matter of taste. Call quality is good in quit surroundings, in noisy environments, once voice is perceived as ‘on distance’ on the other side of the line.The touch control functionality is nice but sometimes a but annoying when you try to push back the earbuds for a better fit. The app is a ‘ nice to have’ although I am not using it that often.

Cuffie semplicemente fantastiche. Non capisco alcune recensioni negative. Sul piano prettamente musicale sono assurde(come sempre per Bose). Cancellazione rumore ottima, bassi potenti e corposi come da tradizione Bose, anche ascoltando musica a basso volume; giochicchiando con l’equalizzazione si riesce a trovare facilmente la firma sonora preferita. Spingendo col volume non vanno mai in affanno, la firma sonora resta sempre nitida.App solo in inglese(niente di insormontabile), ecco forse l’app è da migliorare per qualche bug. (L’ho dovuta disinstallare e re installare perché non si apriva più).Per quanto riguarda le chiamate tutto ok, forse non a livello di altri marchi, ma personalmente le ho prese per la musica e non per le chiamate.Un appunto forse per il case, sembra fatto in modo economico,non all’altezza del blasone del marchio.Per me promosse a pieni voti.Aggiornamento del 12/04: ho riscontrato spesso la disconnessione di uno dei due auricolari in modo random dopo circa mezz’ora di ascolto. Contattato l’assistenza via mail, erano a conoscenza del problema e stavano lavorando per un aggiornamento. Aggiornamento arrivato, le sto stressando particolarmente e il problema non si è ripresentato.Promosse a pieni voti.
