This solar light is the perfect addition to our back yard. I love the fact that it is solar and won’t use any electricity to operate. I also like the fact that there is a remote control that offers many different options for lighting. It does a great job lighting up our yard. I have mounted this light on a pole in my backyard and it is working well. It lights up my backyard where I have never had lighting before. Lights up our entertaining area and the kids trampoline so we can still enjoy the backyard after dark. I have not run the battery dead yet overnight so the battery lasts long enough to not worry.

4/9 update – contacted the support email and received a quick response on the need for the different remote. Older (white plastic) version will be sent free of charge as newer version is missing the timer function I needed. Great service and support experience. For the light itself – it puts out a serious amount of light on full power, very pleased with output. The light can be dimmed to 10% of full power, which is great for conserving power. The battery capacity is also very good, I’ve seen that the light can stay on all night in reduced power mode – not sure how long it lasts on full power but it is at least 5 hours!For version JAYNLT Y-9800W – the remote control (white) shown visually and written in product description is different from the remote control (black) that I received. Product description remote has ability to limit lighting time to 3HR, 5HR, 8HR. Remote I received does not have those buttons. So, light is by default on from dawn to dusk – can’t be set to less time and is bright enough on low setting to disturb neighboring houses in the middle of the night. I’ve sent seller support question if JAYNLT Y-9800W is compatible with white remote and can I get one sent? Will update this review if I get a response. Otherwise, will need to take this down off the 18′ pole it is mounted on and return – with a huge waste of time and effort.

Non existent Customer Service/Support for this product
While the light works and functions as itâs supposed to, I found that the Customer Service/Support for this product was inadequate and non-responsive to both of the solar panels being damaged during shipping!I attempted three times to contact them with no success

Super bright and easy to install
This light is incredibly bright and covers a huge area. Installation was simple, and the remote makes it easy to adjust settings without climbing up. It turns on automatically at dusk and stays on all night with no problem. The solar panel charges well, even on cloudy days. Great quality and a big upgrade for outdoor lighting!

Sie ist also wasserfest/dicht und kann somit wohl Regen, Schnee und auch Wind trotzen (natürlich nur, wenn man beim Anschrauben keinen Mist baut).Die Leuchte wird ausschlieÃlich über Solarenergie betrieben. Es wird also keine externe Stromquelle benötigt.Damit kann man also die sparsame und umweltfreundliche Beleuchtung von Höfen, Bauernhöfen, StraÃen, Parkplätzen usw. gewährleisten.Auch für weit abgelegene Bereiche ist sowas geradezu ideal. Also für ein Haus in der Wüste, auf einer Insel oder in den Bergen :-). Wer weiÃ?Ich muss sagen, dass ich mir die Leuchte selbst etwas gröÃer vorgestellt habe. Ich war aber froh, dass ich das jetzt kein so ein Monster bekommen habe. Nein. Das ist für mich genau richtig so.Es ist eine deutsche und bebilderte Bedienungs- und Montageanleitung dabei. Super.Lt. Anbieter hat die Lampe eine Leistung von 8500 Watt (!) Das ist wirklich sehr ordentlich und die ist deshalb auch wirklich sehr hell. Und dass man hier richtig Strom und damit Geld sparen kann, liegt ziemlich auf der Hand.Man stelle sich mal vor, man müsste diesen Strom aus dem Netz beziehen und das Nacht für Nacht. Nur zum Vergleich: Das sind vier 2000 Watt Heizungen. Das saugt ordentlich Strom. Und DAS spart man sich mit dieser Lösung.Die Farbtemperatur von 6500K entspricht dem Tageslicht. Sonnenschein wird zu Sonnenschein, nur eben halt nachts, könnte man also sagen.Das Teil ansich spart aber auch selbst Strom, weil es nur dann hell leuchtet, wenn das gebraucht wird. Das geschieht per Bewegungssensor. Ohne Bewegung eines Objektes leuchtet die Lampe nur mit 20% Leistung. Läuft oder fährt jetzt jemand dran vorbei, leuchtet sie selbstständig mit 100%. Entfernt man sich wieder von der Lampe, geht die Leistung wieder zurück auf 20%.Für die, die die Leuchte aber selbst manuell regeln wollen, ist eine Fernbedienung mit dabei, mit welcher man das Licht auch manuell an- und ausschalten und auch weitere Einstellungen vornehmen kann. So hat man die volle Kontrolle über das Licht, auch wenn dieses unerreichbar hoch hängen sollte.Die Montage ist nicht schwer. Die Anleitung führt einen Schritt für Schritt durch, aber ich denke, ich persönlich würde das auch ohne diese Anleitung schaffen. Aber zur Sicherheit kann man ja auch darauf “spickeln”, um nachzusehen, ob man auch alles richtig macht.Lediglich eine hohe Leiter sollte man haben, wenn man das irgendwo hoch anbringen will.Ich denke, wer ein leistungsstarkes, umweltfreundliches und robustes Licht für seine AuÃenanlagen benötigt, der ist mit dieser Leuchte wirklich gut bedient.
