Sleek and Modern at an Affordable Price
This fan is great! It’s sleek and modern and a great quality fan!! My husband put it together and installed it, I programmed it. Both steps were simple to do. And the fan is so quiet even on it’s fastest speed. The light is bright and can be dimmed if desired, but as our main light in the room we never dim it. We are most likely going to be buying another one or two to replace the other fans in the house. When my husband first showed me the fan online I thought maybe it was a little overpriced compared to other fans we saw. But the design was so different that I agreed. Now that we have it, I can see that it’s actually a great price because the quality is there!!

Stylish, powerful and quiet fan
Just has this fan professionally installed into my bedroom and very pleased with the result. I had it professionally installed because I needed a net new fan electrical box put in. Fan is very powerful but very quiet, and I love that! Light is very bright and love that it is dimmable. Though not the primary light in the room (there are two bedside lamps as well), it could very well act as such.Remote is pretty simple and does what it it’s supposed to do. I agree with other posts, be nicer if the remote looked nicer, but that’s ok.I would definitely buy this again and recommend it to others.

Great fan
This is a great fan.it looks great, was easy to install, and operates flawlessly. The air flow is perfect – maybe a bit too much on high, but that’s a weak complaint. I’m very favorably impressed.

Works well if you have squared off trim in your house.-The LED makes it more energy efficient but at the same time and has a nice look to it but don’t rely on the light to brighten up a large room-The remote that it comes with does not look as nice as the fan itself, so I have it tucked away in my nightstand drawer.-Generally easy to assemble and put together if you have installed a ceiling fans before.-The one comment I have is that I’ve had to resync the remote once or twice if I flip the switch off and on again. The resync process is relatively easy.

Minka Symbio
Clean lines and lots of power. Well made, low noise level and remote control. Love it! I recommend this product. Only comes in one size. I picked all white to blend in rather to stand out but there are several really nice options. Any 3/4 inch down rod is compatible. If you want wall control switch you need to purchase separately from Minka otherwise works off controller only.

Will not last, not good quality I gave this fan 5 stars, awesome looks and nice and quiet. It stopped working a month ago and after someone tried to repair it worked for one day. I cannot recently recommend a fan that works for 2 years. I was willing to spend a little bit more to avoid exactly this. I am disappointed.

I am not happy
I bought two Minka Aire F828-BN fans one for my each bedroom. Fan itself works good and looks good but when I use the remote control to turn on the fan in one bedroom the fan in the next bedroom turns on. When I turn on the fan light in one bedroom the light in next bedrooms turns on. I have done every thing that the instruction paper said to program the fans but I still have this problem. I changed the code on one remote but the problem with fan light still exists. I use the wall switch to turn it on and off. To avoid this problem do not buy more than one Minka fan for your home.

This one is my favorite and doesn’t look cheap!
I always buy fanimation but their fans now look cheap. So I bought 3 Minka and was not disappointed at the price point. Anyways, I definitely would buy Minka again. The dc install with remote was easy. Had to cap a wire. Unfortunately my fans have 2 different wall switches (one for the light, other for the fan). Day one, three fans installed without any issues at all. These fans really move the air! Programming the remotes were super simple. But do yourself a favor and just buy the wall remotes. You’ve gone this far, just complete the job right. For this Minka design I didn’t have to balance it.
