Great bang for your buck – no subscription needed
Solid doorbell, the picture is pretty clear, it has a really good field of view, set it up in like 5 minutes, and it records to MicroSD so I don’t need a subscription. That last bit makes it totally worth it. Best bargain on video doorbells.

needed an sd card camera no subscription
decent no sub camera. motion detection works well enough, and you can use your own sd card and access via app.

Quick and easy install, basic features, but can’t turn off sensing for cars
I’ve been thinking about getting a video doorbell since neighbors posted video of thieves attempting to break into their cars and their driveway. When this became available in exchange for a free review, I decided to try it out.Setup and installation could not have been easier. I installed batteries in the chime and a micro SD on the doorbell, downloaded the app from the Play store, and set up the app, wifi, and tone. After charging overnight, I mounted the bracket outside my door, slid the doorbell into place, and secured the retaining screw at the bottom.I have a small front yard on a relatively busy street. Even with the closest settings, I immediately needed to turn off notifications. I’m still trying to find an easier way to delete bulk recordings rather than selecting each one individually. It’s possible to wire this to your doorbell wires so that you won’t have to remove it to charge it. I ran into a problem where if I placed the bracket over my old doorbell location, the doorframe interfered so I couldn’t mount the doorbell. As a result, I had to mount it in a suboptimal location with am obstructed view. It also means I’ll need to remove it to charge and there isn’t a solar alternative. If you’re in a low traffic area, this is probably a reasonable option. I may relocate it to use as a security camera instead of a doorbell. There’s a 3 month storage trial plan included.Images are ok, not great, pixelated, especially at night. Audio works, but also not great. And when I am in live view, I only see the icons for push to talk, etc. if I first touch the image. It took me a while to discover that and then to read the online instructions to realize I needed to hold to pop up microphone icon while talking (I know, push to talk, but it’s been a while since I used a walkie talkie!). There are multiple come times, including some that run longer so you won’t miss it. If you get a lot of people at you’re for, some of them may quickly drive you crazy. I wish the door chime were rechargeable, too.Update: after 4 days I have a low battery indicator at 7%. Because there is no way to turn off sensing of cars, I receive an inordinate number of recordings and notifications. The only option is to turn off sensing of any motion and use it just as a doorbell. So if you live in a busy place, can’t hardwire it, and want more than doorbell function, you should look elsewhere. I don’t know if higher level products provide the ability to limit the radius or turn off certain types of motion.

High Quality Name Brand That I Can Trust.
Excellent device.I found this item to be a high quality device with tons of support. The website is almost fully interactive and just about any questions you have can be answered via there intelligent support system. I also found that this is one of the best (if not THE best) Australian company to buy home security systems from. I didn’t realize it when I purchased this item but I realize now that I’ve heard of SWAN home security before and I believe them to be a company and brand that I can trust.Everything about this device is high quality. The video reproduction, the manufacturing, the support, and the quality of the APP and system software have all been well sorted and it is a complete product package that I feel comfortable with. The greatest feature I believe is the home integration package that comes included with the device. You can use the device wirelessly with little installation and charge the camera and bell when it needs charged, BUT you can also wire it directly into your existing doorbell system. It comes with the mounting, and the necessary wiring so you don’t need to buy anything all you need is a screwdriver and a cordless drill. I also like that once the device is connected through the existing wiring for your doorbell it will also utilize your existing bell so you don’t even really need to use the wireless chime that comes with the device. This company, like others, does offer paid subscriptions for cloud storage and other features, but it is a stand alone device, and you don’t need to purchase the subscriptions in order to use the device. Some of the better features of this device are:-Home security notifications sent directly to your smart-phone-HD video clarity-Night-vision-Full App suite for smart phone control-Loud satellite chime that is wireless and rechargeable-Rechargeable camera-Wired or wireless optionsOverall, compared to other more budget friendly options I would definitely pay more just to have this device. The quality, functionality, and support offered with this device are well worth the money I paid for it. I would definitely suggest this item over many of the others on the market based on MY experience, and I would most certainly buy again.A+++ Product.

Brought as gift for Dad, and heâs very impressed. The 2 way intercom is perfect for security and you donât need to subscribe to any company. Basically put on door or wall and it does it all. If you want to record to save just pop in sd card, very easy.My Dad is 70 and didnât have a problem setting this up at all, but my Dad is tech savvy ð
The worsted $50 I’ve ever spent. It leaks, cuts out and has no power at all! –
It constantly disconnects from wifi wen im not home, and sd card never works to record video
