Convenient and eco-friendly
These 3-in-1 bamboo travel toothbrushes won’t replace your regular dental hygiene routine anytime soon, but they are super handy for having on hand when you need a quick mouth refresh on the go: for example, if you’re going on a day trip and don’t really want to bring your whole travel kit, throwing one of these in your bag replaces the need for a regular toothbrush, flosser, AND toothpaste.Most of all, I love that these are eco-friendly. It’s important to me to try to minimize my use of single-use plastics, and bamboo is a great alternative. These brushes feel sturdy enough to use so there really isn’t much compromise. The bristles may be softer than some prefer, but they will still give you a perfectly adequate clean for a single day! You could even theoretically reuse the brush a couple of times without much issue (though you’d need to reapply toothpaste). Even the wrapping on each individual brush feels more like something biodegradable.The floss, of course, is single-use, but it’s handy that you get just the amount you need and don’t have a lot of excess waste. As a pet owner, I like that this keeps tempting strings of floss out of the trash can where my pets could find it! It’s not the tightest-strung, but easy enough to use all the same.The toothpaste is probably my least favorite part of this but even then I don’t mind. I’d really rather have fluoride for my tooth health, and I usually use a special toothpaste to help with tooth sensitivity, so the included paste would not be my first choice. It’s still super useful, though, for in the gym, before a meeting, or on the road where other options aren’t available.All in all, I think this is a pretty low-cost option to swap out a less eco-friendly option for one that’s kinder to the planet and works quite well. These are very convenient to keep in your purse, car, etc. for occasional use.

These are good in a pinch.The wood seems very sturdy, and feels like they won’t break mid brushing.The description says “no water needed”, but the first time I tried them I didn’t have enough saliva in my mouth to activate the slightly dry paste that coats the bristles.The second time I dipped it in the mouthwash cap and swirled it around for about 3-5 seconds before using, and the experience was much more preferable.Some of the brush heads’ bristles were smushed flat, but after swirling them around in water, and starting to brush they sorta regained the standard shape, but not fully.The bristles seem to be what would be classified as medium if you were to purchase a regular toothbrush in a store.Not too hard, but not soft.The flossing end is great in theory, but the “U” shaped bow is very thick, so it makes it kind of difficult to near impossible to comfortably and easily get your molars, but it is very sturdy, and can do you front visible teeth well.The travelability and functionality are good, but not 5/5. more like 3.5-4/5

These Brushee bamboo toothbrushes with floss work really well. The bamboo is solid. Itâs thick (about 5mm) and doesnât bend. The floss is taught and doesnât shred. The bristle on the toothbrush are really soft and donât hurt my gums. The toothpaste embedded in the bristles foams up nicely with saliva. Theyâre individually wrapped and easy to throw in a purse or bag for on the go, an overnight stay, or when out camping.When I tested one, I was surprised how well it cleaned my teeth, however there were two things I didnât like. First, The floss end is somewhat wide. Some people might have a hard time fitting this in their mouths if their mouths are small. Mine mouth is fairly small, and it was hard to get to my molars. Secondly, the toothpaste, even though it worked well, requires moisture from your saliva to foam up and distribute amongst your teeth. My mouth tends to be dry, so it took a while for it to start working. A chunk came off and got stuck in my teeth when I bit down on it to break it up. They say you donât need water, and maybe in some cases you donât, but I prefer using water with this. I also donât want to swallow any toothpaste, so I wanted to rinse and spit it out.Despite the negatives listed above, I think these are pretty cool (and I wonât knock any stars off for those things). Itâs nice to have everything included in one product. It can save space and time. The bamboo is very smooth to the touch – no sharp corners. I didnât notice any splintering. The mint in the toothpaste is mild and pleasant. I love that these are biodegradable and cruelty free. The price is a bit much, but they are made well and the brush can stand up to a few uses.
