Perfect Compact Compost Bin : Practical and Stylish!
I absolutely love this compost bin! The size is just right for my kitchen (8L/2.6Gal) and it fits perfectly under the sink without taking up too much space. The lid keeps odors contained really well, and I appreciate that it can also be mounted on the cabinet door or even used on the countertop. The design is sleek and the black color blends in nicely anywhere I put it.Itâs easy to clean, lightweight, and super convenient for collecting food scraps while cooking. I also like that it works great in small spaces like the bathroom or even in an RV. Overall, itâs a high-quality and versatile trash/compost bin that makes my daily routine much easier. Definitely worth it!

Love it! With one caveat
Very clean nice and simple and just love the multiple functions of the lid! Super easy to mount on the outside of the cabinet… And on the handle for the oven too… Not difficult to get the lid to open in the multiple directions and even looks good just staying open sometimes and it’s nice that it’s all attached so you don’t have to find somewhere to put the lid… Super cool!But you can’t do it on the inside of the cabinet door without using the adhesive option. And the reason is the hook adapter piece is too short and it makes the can hit the edge of the cabinetry when you slip it in on the inside…My suggestion and/or caveat: instead of an adhesive option for alternatives like that (sometimes I shut down the vacation house and it’s in Arizona and gets so hot that anything adhesive fails)… Why not add just a touch of cool to the well built plastic cabinet hook thing, so that it can extend down a bit and then you could fit it inside or outside your cabinet and you could still have it up next to the counter when it’s short (as designed) or a little lower to clear the cabinetry on the inside.I got the larger one and it’s great for plastic garbage bags to get from Walmart or whatever…

Not airtight
I was excited for this compost bin since I am prepping to compost for my garden. The item is nice and large for a week’s worth of vegetable scraps (8L) and it fits nicely under the kitchen sink. There are a few things I enjoy about it. The lid swivels two ways depending on how often you need to open it. See photos. You can simply lift the lid and toss in your scraps or pull it forward to leave it completely open and sweep all your scraps from the counter. There is an inner ring to secure your plastic bag and makes for a cleaner removal of the compost. The hook fits nicely over the cabinet door and easy to install. What I didn’t like is the cheapness of the material. It’s plastic. And very cheaply constructed plastic. The lid is on hinges and is not sturdy. A crawling baby could easily break the lid off it’s hinges. There is no sealant between the lid and the top of the bin so the smell will seep through, hence the need to empty the bin often. I thought of hanging it on the inside of the cabinet door, but it is not designed that way, as it is too tall. I’d like to truly love this item, but my expectations have not been met. In the meantime, it will serve it’s purpose, just not as fantastically as I would like.

Can’t hang it- expensive plastic
I’m feeling pretty frustrated with this trash can. I received it yesterday, opened it up, and was confused about how I was supposed to mount this to my cabinet. There was NOTHING else in the box. I came back to the Amazon page to see what I was missing. The pics all show an ability to extend the hanger over the cabinet? Mine doesn’t do that. See my own pictures that show how tiny the little ledge is. It looks like it was made to have those plastic backers you stick to a wall and then you can attach the can, but I didn’t get that either. So all-in-all, this is a pretty expensive piece of plastic that doesn’t do what I wanted it to do. I WANTED to have something easy and under the counter to toss my compost. I’m in a NYC apartment– I don’t have counter space for this.

Not worth the cost
The bin is a good size, but is very flimsy plastic. The lid “hinges” are even worse, lifting the lid unevenly and leave it all wonky.The lid is supposed to be able to be used either flipped up or laid down against the front of the bin. It doesn’t work well or easily. It gets there, but it is annoying.This does hang nicely, but I don’t see any way that it is worth the cost ($35 at time of review).*** I have a video showing the wonkiness, but it won’t load.

Nice small trash bin
Looks just as the picture shown and as described. The 8L size fits a Walmart type plastic shopping bag to recycle as a trash bag perfectly, and the hangers (located inside bin) attach to cabinets & mount great and work as advertised. Great size for the kitchen or craft room (why I picked it). Would also be great as a bathroom trash bin. Hinges on lid work, not 100% smooth, but do work good.I received this through the Amazon Vine program, but it is a little expensive at regular price for a small plastic trash bin.

Good little bin, works on an office desk too, kinda pricey.
I got this trash can because I needed one near my desk and decided to try this out. If it didn’t work on the drawer, then it would be just fine sitting on the floor- but it did work! Nice to have a little bin close by for candy wrappers and old notes. A regular plastic sack works great as a liner.I received it through Amazon Vine, but I did see that it was pretty expensive. It’s nice how it opens two ways, but it is just a small, plastic trash can.

Great compact trash bin for limited spaces.
Perfect for the mini home office, small and compact but yet can still hold a good amount of trash so you don’t have frequent bag changes. Seems sturdy, hung perfectly with the included hanging attachment( which was easy to slide in place) so as to not be on the ground and in the way. This solved a waste in problem I had because of the available space.
