Excellent pomade for wavers
This petroleum-free pomade is excellent for maintaining waves. My hair drinks it up and feels soft and manageable after use. It lays my waves down nicely after a wash and style and doesnât feel too greasy. It doesnât bleed through my durag or stain my pillows when sleeping like thicker petroleum based pomades. The scent is fantastic as well. My wife asked if there was a particular reason why I came to bed smelling so good. I told her it was my hair. She couldn’t believe it until she took a sniff of my hair up close. She obviously likes the scent.

Iâve spent at minimum $300 on fancy hair fixes that didnât work. They ALL left my hair dry, scalp burning from all the chemicals, or it broke off because it was too thick. I have very fine 3c-4a hair thatâs both highly porous and low porosity. So youâll understand the challenge of finding products that benefit my hair. This is a game changer! The smell was a little overpowering initially. However, that dissipated within a half-hour. What was left was highly moisturized hair that was easily detangled, and beautifully shiny, looking healthy, on top of this head that is now wearing a huge smileâ£ï¸

Felt ok on hair, but left more of a greasy film. Did not seal in moisture. Did not seem to soak in hair like grease/petrolatum. Not as conditioning either. I have coily, type 4, high porosity/density. Medium coarse hair.
