The USB Penlight pumps out enough UV light to harden the included resin, within the specified 5 seconds. I use it to assemble wargaming miniatures. I also bought a UV Nail Hardener, which is nice because it has multiple UV LED’s, which bathe a miniature in a flood of UV light. I use the penlight to harden the resin, then I put the figure within the UV Nail Hardener, turning it over every 15 seconds or so, to ensure the resin is fully hardened. Overkill, but it gives me more confidence.I had a large, 65mm, metal miniature which had its hand, holding a weapon, fall off. I applied a sparse amount of resin to the joint, held it in place, then I applied the UV Penlight: it hardened, the hand and weapon are still holding, two weeks later, without issue. I applied gentle pressure to see if it would hold, and it is. This is incredibly useful for miniatures gamers who need on-the-spot repairs, quick and easy. Figures break during game play, quite often, and this will allow quick, easy repairs to be made with minimal interruption of the game!I tried to repair a broken plastic tab with the resin, yesterday. It cured, nicely, but the resin bond with the clear, hard plastic, was extremely weak, and it broke off within minutes. It is not a cure-all for every material, so experimentation will be necessary. Nice product
Ordered this as a larger quantity to another brand of UV resin on the market. It seems to work quite well; bonding in mere seconds once the UV light hits the adhesive. The actual resin appears to be quite sticky and adheres to the materials well. It does flow nicely into the material before you hit it with the UV. However that can be slightly detrimental, as the bond may not be as strong if you can’t expose it to the UV light from the other side. One other quirk is that the adhesive, once cured with the UV light, seems to be “wet” still if you run your finger over it. It does not appear to fully harden as the other brand. I thought perhaps I didn’t cure it long enough, so I left the UV lamp on it for a considerably longer time then was recommended…..still feels a bit wet. Fast forward a week or so, and the resin still feels wet, though it isn’t, and the parts are holding well. This was used on the dashboard of my vehicle, and it definately gets exposed to heat and UV light through the windows, so not sure what the resin propertys are that keep it that stick wet feeling. Still, a good product that I would recommend.

Resin works, blacklight pen…not so much
Seller is good. The product was shipped to me quickly. The only issue I have is the resin works great but the black light that it came with it doesn’t work so well. I guess it’s what to expect based on the price. If you pick this up, youll want to invest in a better black light flashlight

Amazing solution for impatient craftsman
This resin has been a lifesaver as an architecture student! Sometimes I just need a model to be assembled quickly and the 5-second cure time is consistently accurate. The light pen is lightweight, portable, and RECHARGEABLE (so no more tossing dead black lights)! It recharges via USB-C fairly quickly and dries clear and strong. It’s a little iffy on metal, but that’s because smooth metal doesn’t have much for the (any) glue to grab onto.The only con I have to this product is that the packaging isn’t the greatest. I’m constantly having to deal with sticky residue left on the outside of the bottle or in my bag because the lid does not secure and therefore is prone to leakage.

Es klebt alles wunderbar miteinander. Nur dort wo das UV-Licht nicht hinkommt, kommt es eben zu keiner Reaktion und der Kleber wird nicht fest, was eine zeitlich nicht limitierte Ausrichtung der zu verbindenden Teile zulässt.Bei einem normalen Sekundenkleber: Kleber drauf, Teil hingehalten, fest – nix mehr auszurichten.Dort wo das UV-Licht jedoch auf den Kleber auftrifft, tritt die Reaktion innerhalb von 5-10 Sekunden ein und es bildet sich eine feste Verbindung der zu verbindenden Teile.Ich hatte Probleme mit einem sehr filigranen Modell mit Klemmbausteinen; dort fielen immer wieder kleine Teile ab,ordinärer Sekundenkleber kam für mich nicht in Frage, da ich mit der Zeit dann sicher selbst Teil des Modells geworden wäre.So aber trug man an den gewünschte Stellen etwas Kleber auf, der eben ohne UV-Bestrahlung so lange nicht aushärtete wie man Zeit benötigte, um alles an Ort und Stelle zu fixieren. Dann 5-10 Sekunden UV-Lampe einschalten und schon war das ganze fest.Nun ist ist Modell fertig und ich bin voll zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis.Man muss jedoch dazu sagen, dass aufgrund der oberflächigen Verklebungen diese nun sichtbar sind, was für michaber verschmerzbar ist, da der Kleber relativ transparent erstarrt.Wie stark die Klebeflächen belastbar sind, konnte und wollte ich nicht testen, jedoch sind von den von mir mittels diesem Kleber fixierte Teile nicht mehr abgefallen. Ob dieser Kleber einem reinen Sekundenkleber in Sache Klebekraft gleichsteht, muss man selbst prüfen.Zu erwähnen sein auch, dass sich die UV-Lampe sehr hochwertig anfüllt; zudem ist sie über USB aufladbar.Tolle Sache.Das Kleberfläschchen selbst ist mit einem Siegel versehen, dass den Kleber vor dem Auslaufen und Austrocknen schützt. Da der Kleber ohne UV-Bestrahlung nicht aushärtet,Beigelegt ist eine aufschraubbare Dosierspitze, welche eine feinere Öffnung für eine bessere Dosierbarkeit aufweisen könnte.Nach getaner Arbeit lässt man das Fläschchen eine Zeitlang stehen, so dass der Kleber aus der Dosierspitze zurücklaufen kann, dann wird diese Dosierspitze abgeschraubt und der Deckel des Fläschchens wieder aufgeschraubt.Am besten stellt man das Fläschchen an einem dunklen, trockenen Ort.Und ja, man sollte sich auf jeden Fall Einmalhandschuhe anziehen, denn der Kleber hinterlässt, auch wenn er nicht mit UV-Licht bestrahlt wird, eine klebrige Kontaktstelle, die schwer zu entfernen ist.

I’ve never used UV resin.Product came quickly and works out of the box. I’ve tested it on a mug handle that needed attachment and it worked very quickly/well.I will charge the UV pen light, up and do other fixes needed. Only time will tell if the resin works etc. Seems to be a good product.
