Great container
Solidely built with the inside having a permanent plastic liner. The outside is highly polished. The lid fits just right. There is a filter that goes into a compartment in the lid that is changeable. No odor from the can until opened. Looks nice on the counter. I bought bags for it so you can toss the whole thing into your compost.

This is about a half gallon too small for our ongoing needs, but I love the look and simple functionality of the Stainless pail w/lid. If we had lesser needs I would be totally in love with this pail.

It’s huge and wonderful
W had this tiny plastic bucket thing for kitchen compost. It seemed like it needed to be emptied every time I opened it up to toss something in. Not this bad boy, though. The same compost bags i was getting fit nicely in here. I’m sure some would quibble over the need to take off the lid, but i don’t find it arduous at all. It slots in nicely under the sink and doesn’t take up any more room at the front of the shelf than the old one because it’s not an annoying box. Had someone given me this for Christmas, i would think of them for years to come as a wise and insightful person. The only problem to solve was how to manage keeping bags in place as the lid comes on and off. Fortunately, though, rubber bands exist. It wasn’t even enough of a bother to cost a star.

Very nice
Generous size, tidy, does not smell, seals tightly, holds plenty of scraps before needing to be emptied into a compost bin. I like that it has the integrated liner inside the canister and around the inner base of the lid. The filter is amazing – it stinks when you open the bin but not at all once the lid is closed. Worth the money!

Just what I needed
Perfect size for kitchen counter, the charcoal filter works very well, purchased bio degradable bags, only empty once week, no odor whatsoever!

Very useful
This compost container is a good size, looks very clean on our kitchen counter and is an improvement over the ceramic varieties (holds more, not as heavy). The oval shape means the lid requires careful placement (it caves in sometimes in replacing it but that’s only irritating not a problem).

Excellent qualty
This compost bin is a great size for under the sink and it seals very well. It is also extremely lightweight making it easy to empty. And it’s much easier to clean than our old one which didn’t seal or have a filter. We are very happy with this purchase!
