Great for getting leverage while digging deep
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this 5 tine garden fork. It is very heavy duty. The ergonometric handle did make a difference in comfort. The step bar and sharp longer tines was just what I needed to get better leverage in helping dig out clay. While it performs better than any shovel at that task, I still had to really soak the ground or the tines could not dig deep enough.It seems kind of pricey but it looks like it will last for decades.

Okay but handle too short and forms a bit small
Ok for the price. Itâs a little small for a pitchfork, the forks part. I could live with that if it were the only flaw, for the price. However the handle is also about a foot shorter than ideal for a pitchfork. Makes using it mean being hunched over. See it next to a couple of rakes to get an idea of size. Great for a shorter person, Iâm 6â0â, so someone 5â3â or under would probably find this tool perfectly sized. Very lightweight, still seems strong enough. Decent quality, I just need a regular length garden tool handle on my fork.
