Function
Worked great with the heater
K. Myers –
Adapted rheostat to very old unit!
The Cadet was a BS-1 from the seventies. The metal plate was a different shape but the switch fit on to the old unit! I had to drill the rivets off and connect it with screws. The switch was modular and aligned with the 50 year+ 220v unit. I also used the instructions and was able to upgrade the old single pole to double pole so now I can finally turn it off fully.

The thermostat that came with the Cadet heater failed. Time will tell.

Always either too hot or too cold, have to adjust every day. It’s a small 100sqft room we are heating.Don’t install it directly onto the heater, very inconsistent. Install on wall away from heater instead.
