The Mishimoto 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X racing thermostat will promote greater cooling efficiency throughout the engine. A Mishimoto racing thermostat will significantly lower high engine temperature produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications. Once the engine is fully warmed up the Mishimoto racing thermostat will open up at a lower temperature (68A degree Celsius) than standard thermostats (82A degree Celsius), also allowing the coolant to flow through the engine sooner thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.

Thermostat performs as advertised, and I am very impressed in the quality of this product too. Did not get a seal with this part. I was able to reused the old seal, and no problems.

Works well, if you have the evo x MR …
Works well, if you have the evo x MR edition, youre gonna need a short stubby 12 mm wrench to remove the housing, transmission housing gets in the way. Other than that, the product is great

Did not include the rubber gasket, but I just used some liquid gasket maker and it does fine

TWO thermostats in a row with no gaskets. Yet it is clearly stated in the page that they are included. Stars docked for false advertisement and will no longer be buying any mishimoto products. Thumbs down.
