Refurbished panel looks and works great. Recommended.
I bought the refurbished panel from Jackery. I have other, 200W Jackery panels which came with cases. This one did not. The panel had very minor scuffing along one edge. The cable appears to be new with no noticeable wear. I set it up connected to my Jackery 300 Explorer (original version) and it charged the power station as expected. I especially like the ability to use the panel to charge USB devices without the need for a power station or controller.

Solid Solar Power
Jackery folds and the magnetic discs built into the handles keep the product closed. Thatâs my first tangible impression, whilst gripping the late open handles. On the back side of the folding panels is a utility bag, to hold built in cables and your USB & USB-C cables.Letâs face it, these portable solar products spend more of their life folded than open, so you need one that stays folded and is accessible and visible at the same time. The connector bus bar is hidden inside the attached bag, so it allows you to have cables always at the ready. Recommend keeping a set like I have in the bag at all times. Charge cables are eaten at my house; hiding a set in the Jackery Solar Saga 100 will guarantee you arenât caught on one foot hunting for the car charging cable.Another feature you will immediately see is the bright orange colored handle. When you are looking to get things together for your trip, color coding of gear is a great idea.Ahh charging. Yes, put in sun, the more the better. Itâs easy and lightweight to move throughout the day as we rotate around our polar axis. The 7w and 13w chargers available from other vendors are inexpensive, but you need something large enough to actually provide you with a meaningful charge. This does that.Grommets on each corner when open and the handles allow you to run a security cable through if you are leaving it outside while you step away. Or attach to the deck of your boat â¦Compare to my previous solar âbriefcaseâ folding panel from Harbor Fr** and at 13watts vs this at 100 watts, itâs 7.5x more receptive to the sun. Plus, someone tossed that case while moving, and the panels, which were made of glass cracked and broke, leaving the unit inoperable. This unit is larger, and somehow you feel like carrying it and not tossing it around, which will definitely lead to an improved service life.

Great Portable Solar Product
I’ve tested a number of portable solar panels and keep coming back to the SolarSaga 100 as my go-to item when preparing for the field. The product is sturdy, sets up quickly and is easily stowed when not in use.On the technical side, my typical practice is to ensure that I’ve good coverage (no shaded areas) but I rarely take the time to fidget with panel placement in order to optimize power. Still, I manage to average a good 60-70 watts per panel on a sunny day, which is enough to keep my battery charged.Overall, the product quality is top-notch and the Jackery Team has always been very responsive in answering my questions.

New Jackery Solar Panel & Power Station 500
I loved getting this power duo. Ready to use! The panel powered my charger at about 40% in 3 hours in full sun. This is my first try with this type of equipment & I love the ease of portability, convenience & quality most of all.It is a refurbished power station & it turned out to be a great deal. Thank you Jackery!

My 2nd panel
I owned a 100 watt Jackery Panel that fried itself due to manufacturers faulty wiring just after warrantee ran out, my luck. This newer one is much larger and the wire is somewhat longer. The performance was surprisingly good, even on very cloudy days.I bought an extra 10 ft extention if needed. I love Jackey, I own 4 power stations and really need one more small one, but the panel took top priority as needed 300 watts to complete a days recharge of my collection while boondocking in my RV.I like the panel because it stands up better, to the wind due to its beefy sturdiness and bigger stands. Disappointed, I had to wait so long to buy another panel. A little harder to store due to size, but not disappointed with the improvements.

Easy set up and use
Did a great job. When I had a clear line to the sun ut held charge at 64 watts which if I remember correctly was exactly what it’s supposed to charge at. Packs and moves easily with the built in stands set up pretty simple. And since I’m using a jacket portable battery it’s just plug and go. Pretty damn happy about both of those purchases. I use cpap and it’s the only way I can go camping.

Quality of product is great
Solar panel is just right for the Jackery 500, Charges very well in full sun and also charges when it is overcast. Use it this last weekend and work very well for my RC airplane charging needs. Had a lot of other flyer interested in purchasing one for them self. A little more expensive then some others but well worth it.
