    Home run for Keurig
It took a few tries to evaluate this coffee maker. It seems to be a solid built item and works as advertised. I really like that I can get a frothy top and I think it enhances the quality of the coffee. I think Keurig got a home run on this machine.

    Keurig’s first DUD.
I have waited a long time to get this coffee maker. I bought the fill yourself pods specific for the machine but the machine would not accept them. Once the lever/arm got stuck halfway and I had to work on it for a minute to get it to release. I was so afraid the arm would break. This coffee maker claims to produce a crema when the pressure is used. I tried several brands of Keurig coffee pods and got no crema at all. One cup of coffee looked like weak tea or dirty water. All-in-all, I was so disappointed and frustrated. I had preordered this coffee maker and was really excited to get it, only to find out it was a dud. I am returning it. Back to my Ninja Coffee maker and my $39 Keurig. Keurig has a great reputation for quality products. I’m afraid this one’s a DUD. Back to the drawing board.

Honestly, This is a Game-Changer for Us!
I ordered the “K-Crema Single Serve Coffee Maker” for three reasons. First and foremost, it’s a Keurig product. Second, it has several appealing new features. And, finally, our current Keurig coffee maker, although still operating flawlessly, is nearly ten years old and showing its age.My wife and I are so pleased to have this. The K-Crema feature is a “game-changer.” The result is coffee with a pleasing froth and a smooth taste that truly satisfies the palate. The coffee is a perfectly hot temperature, as expected. The new coffee maker also has other options that our older one doesn’t — including four brew sizes instead of three, an easier power-off and power-on function, the choice of a crema (pressure) or classic brew, as well as a shot and double-shot option. Further, the new Keurig coffee maker is smaller and significantly lighter than our older one. Additionally, the drip tray is adjustable — up or down — which is especially useful when using cups of different sizes with the crema function. And, finally, the water reservoir has a solid, comfortable handle along with a super-easy attachment on the side. Yes, a handle! I can’t tell you how many times I struggled with the no-handle reservoir (see one of my photos) on our old Keurig, which also needed to be carefully aligned with an opening on the top-rear side of the coffee maker. Imagine how frustrating it can be, after just waking up and running late in the morning, as you struggle repeatedly to align a full, handle-less reservoir with a small connection on the top side as well as the bottom. Thank goodness for the new Keurig!

Nice crema and easy to use, but pricey for what it is
It’s been years since I’ve had a Keurig, and this one definitely feels like a step up from the older models I remember. I made a medium roast with the pressure feature, and it actually came out with crema, which makes it look and feel more like a cafe drink. I even tried adding cream and sugar after, and the crema didn’t collapse, which was a nice surprise. I also made hot chocolate and it turned out smooth and rich. The coffee comes out hot enough to drink right away without being scalding, and the machine is simple to use. It has different size options and you can adjust the tray height for different cup sizes so it pours better. It handles both coffee pods and hot chocolate pods without any issue. It makes my coffee quality taste pretty nice for a pod system! It’s not going to rival a real fancy espresso machine, but the added pressure does make a difference compared to standard Keurigs.Functionality-wise, it does what it promises, but I’m a little on the fence about the value. At over $200, it feels a bit underwhelming when you consider that you’re still locked into buying coffee pods, descaler, etc. The machine itself works well, I have no complaints about the performance, but I’d personally recommend grabbing it on sale rather than paying full price. The part that holds the water is easy to remove and refill, and the descaling process is straightforward, though you’ll want to keep in mind it still requires regular maintenance like any pod system.Overall, it’s a nice upgrade for Keurig fans who want crema and versatility, but the price point makes me hesitate to call it great value for money.

Love this! Espresso from a regular k-cup! Great addition to the office!
I have multiple coffee and espresso machines. This one is really convenient because you can use a regular k-cup to achieve the espresso and crema. Is it 100% like an espresso machine with fresh ground beans? No of course not. But who would expect that? Was I really impressed how smooth it was? I was. I was very impressed. You can use it as a regular Keurig or use the pressure option, which will give it the crema. You can choose one shot, two shots or how many ounces. I will say the two-shot doesn’t make it as potent as I would prefer, but all of the options give a good crema and smooth flavor. Not bad out of a k-cup.On a side note, I did notice one person mentioned you couldn’t use reusable k-cups…the pressure functions punches multiple holes in it, which there’s not a plastic reusable (that I know of) that could withstand that or that is made for that.Another side note, all those holes from the pressure functions make the k-cups a leaky mess when you take them out to discard them, so have a rag or napkin handy. This is a really good and efficient option for people who love an espresso / crema but need convenience. Perfect for the office.
