Love this hand blender. Easy to use, clean and does a fantastic job within seconds without spraying outside of your pot or bowl. What I like most about the Vitamix immersion blender is that it has two speeds. The rubber tip protects surfaces of container being used. The additional whisk attachment replaced my hand mixer. It is ideal for soups, sauces, dressing, and anything that needs emulsified. Highly recommend.

A very useful kitchen appliance, recommended for its performance. However, the attachment with the blade easily comes detached from the main body. It is a friction fit maintained by a “O” ring.

Vitamix quality as usual!
Great immersion blender! I have owned several and this one is by far the nicest. I love the plastic tips on the bottom as so many models are just stainless steel. That just scratches up your pans especially if you are using ceramic or anything with a non-stick coating. This one is on the larger size, but it works very well and gets the job done quickly. I didn’t real need the added whisk (would have rather not received that or paid less and had them leave it out), but I’m sure we’ll find a use for it.

Amazing!
I tried a few different immersion blenders and have been pretty disappointed with all of them…with the exception of this one.It doesn’t seem that powerful but within ten seconds or less, I’m able to create a smooth consistency. I have a koios immersion blender with 1100 watts and even after 2 minutes and the turbo setting, I’m left with chunks. That doesn’t happen with the Vitamix blender.I make soups, Indian dals, and sauces so I use immersion blenders a lot. Happy with this purchase and I really appreciate all the reviews. The reviews are real! 🙂
