Best value in a 1KWh portable power station
I have 4 Ecoflow portable power stations and they all work great. I like the Delta 2 units because they don’t weigh too much and are a great value when on sale.Pros: Will power pretty much anything in your kitchen with the 1800 watt inverter. Charges quickly in 1 hour off of 120 volts. It has 1024 Wh battery but only weights 27 pounds. Has 120 volt, 12 volt, and USB outputs. Great for camping, travel, or powering appliances in your trailer.Con: The inverter consumes about 10 % of the power which is pretty normal for inverters. Will not run some power tools because of the high power surge lasting several seconds.

Another great addition to the EcoFlow Delta series!
The Delta 3 is nice! I purchased this unit in March 2025, and added it to my growing EcoFlow collection. I have a few River series units and a Delta 2 with an extra battery. The Delta 3 arrived quickly, and setup was a breeze. EcoFlow offers an optional, free-to-use mobile app, which I have, and it recognized the device immediately after start up. The D3 works straight out of the box too, so if the mobile app isnât your thing, it works just fine without it.Since itâs a 3rd generation unit, the Delta 3 has a lot of new features available in the app that my first and second generation units do not. I particularly like the remote shut-off feature, where I can go in the app and turn off the device in case I forget. Another new-to-me feature is the real-time power usage and history. Since I recharge the unit using solar, itâs great to see the history and daily solar power generated by the connected panel. I also like that all of the AC and USB ports are on the front of the unit. This is great since I store the unit on a heavy-duty shelf against a wall with my other devices. The Delta 3 is great, however I do have some small critiques. I did get two error codes during my first week of use. The first day I connected solar, I plugged the panel (EcoFlow Flexible 100W) in the night before. The next day, I woke up to error code 303, which is likely related to the inverter based on codes for previous generation Delta units. The mobile app explained the error and offered troubleshooting instructions right away. After the reboot, the device worked without issue and I havenât see that error since. On a different day, after charging the D3 via AC power, I briefly encountered error 471 when unplugging the power cord from the outlet. Itâs a quick error that appears on the D3 screen but doesnât last long enough for the mobile app to show any information. Iâm not sure if itâs actually an error or just a power blip when unplugging. It doesnât happen every time, but I have seen it a few times since March. In general, Iâm not worried about these two errors. The Delta 3 comes with a 5-year warranty, so if I have any issues in the future, Iâll reach out to Customer Service for support.Overall, I think the Delta 3 is a solid addition to the Delta series line up. If youâre new to EcoFlow and considering this unit, itâs a great one to start with. Note I said âstart withâ, because youâll love it enough that youâll want to add more devices to your collection! Definitely look for a Daily or Lightning Deal and EcoFlow coupon checkboxes on the item listing to get the best price. Not to be confused with the Delta 3 Plus, which is another great unit, the Delta 3 also comes in a 1500Wh capacity in either the black or silver finish. If you are trying to decide between the Delta 3 1024Wh unit (this one Iâve reviewed) and the Delta 3 1500Wh unit for a similar price, definite go for the larger battery. Whatever you choose, donât forget to register your unit for warranty and *actively read the user manual* to learn how use and maintain your device for many years to come. Enjoy!

Great value on sale and useful power/weight to carry out.
I havenât done the Professor Hobo challenge, but with initial use it has performed DC and AC power, charging and fan use. Working great and was a great price on sale after the new version with minimal extra features came out. Seems very good for brief home outages, good for tent or truck camping et c. at this power to weight balance. Not waterproof but I got the package with a vinyl case at no charge.

Mid Level Power Supply for Camping and Power Outages. Very straightforward and easy to use!
This is my first backup power supply I’ve ever bought and I’m very happy with it! It’s a great alternative to using a noisy petrol generator. I bought this one because my needs were the following: a. Something to have while camping that can run appliances and charge gear up, such as smartphones and/or cameras/gopro’s. I’ve tested this with my Blendtec (similar to a vitamix). And it worked awesome. I was able to run it full blast and it was only pulling about 600w or 1/4 of the total allowed by the unit. I was also able to run a projector, chromecast, speakers and a lamp for about 12 hours. When I checked, the Delta 2 still had 55% battery left. As for size and weight, I personally found it easy to manage. Smaller than a desktop computer and fairly light. I also purchased the Waterproof case for the Delta 2 which allows you to run the unit while inside the bag. There are flaps you open that allow the fans to pull air in and out. A real nice touch. The only complaints about the bag are: 1. There’s no handles or shoulder strap on the bag so it’s kind of awkward carrying it. 2. There’s only 1 pocket on top of the case and it doesn’t allow much to be put in there. It would of been nice to include 1 large pocket on the side that you could add a power strip, multiple charging cables, the 12v DC cable, and instruction manuals inside. My plan is to use this with an Electric Cooler. If you want to do the same, be aware that the Delta 2 gives an approx time of 16-32 hours for that. If it’s really hot, it might zap the battery in less than 24 hours. Hopefully the electric cooler you own has: a. a power supply of it’s own to use first before needing the Delta 2 and b. Your cooler offers Eco Mode which won’t pull power the whole time. If it has both of those, I imagine you could camp for a few days and have power the whole time if you’re not using the Delta 2 for much else. Otherwise you should get a bigger unit like the EcoFlow Pro or Max. My plan is to get the 2nd backup battery. I’m eager to see the new upcoming Ecoflow Electric Cooler that was just showcased at the CES show. It looks really nice and am looking forward to using both the Delta 2 and the Glacier cooler combined! One odd thing about the Glacier is they said it only works with Solar or AC. Didn’t appear there was a DC option. As for the Delta 2, you get AC, DC for your car and the solar cable connection cables. You just need to purchase the solar panels. I might try that down the road. I only go camping for a few days. Also, the mobile application works great with the unit. Of note: At first I was confused using the application. I was able to connect via Wifi and when I wanted to try bluetooth, I couldn’t get it to work. The reason for that is because the unit will use Wifi if it’s available. So if you’re at your house and want to force bluetooth to work, you need to sever the wifi connection completely so the only option for your phone and delta 2 will be bluetooth at that point. Once I figured that out, BT worked perfectly. There is no need to go into ‘connected devices’ on your phone and add the Delta 2. It’s fancy enough that it just works automatically. So overall I’m pretty happy. This is offering me enough backup power at the moment. I didn’t buy this to power my house for 24 hours when the power goes out. If you want that, you should look at the Ecoflow Pro. It has 4x the power than the Delta 2. The 3 stars for Noise is a tad unfair. It shouldn’t surprise you that this has a loud fan when charging 1850w in 90 minutes while plugged into the wall. That’s 1200w of input. But guess what? In the mobile app you can lower the intake of power when charging. If you lower it all the way down to 200w intake, it will be as quiet as a desktop computer. I was able to charge the unit 55% over the course of 5 hours with it on 200w. If you go with 800w the fan will kick on but it won’t be as loud as the fan on High when intaking 1200w. So it just depends. Do you really need your Delta 2 charged up in 90 minutes and it’s completely dead? Then you’ll have to go with the loud fan. But you can hopefully just plug it into a room that no one is in, like your garage. I’ve found I’m fine with charging at the lowest 200w intake and just letting it take 10-12 hours to charge. But everyone is different. Have fun!

Best decision ever.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It is what I could afford. Works well. Got it after going through hurricane Helene 2024. I have used it during several storm power outages and the device has worked well keeping my internet up and running and supplpower to lamps, fans and charging phones. Works better than the ups(backup power) I have installed for my internet devices. It barely last 45min. The ecoflow easily last 13hrs according to the timer on it. I plan to purchase a solar panel(s) to charge it during power outages.

A second update has been added to the end of this review.A quick update: The power station sat for a couple of months after the most recent charge. Today I decided to discharge and recharge it. It still showed 100% charge when turned on and ran a small portable room air conditioner for over half an hour. It still had 50% charge and didnât get even slightly warm. The AC unit draws about 900 watts. This is truly an impressive device!Original review:I have used this power station only for a few days and so far it has proven to be easy to use and it delivers the performance advertised. It is quick to charge, even at a much lower charge rate than maximum. It is not particularly loud when charging.I have tested it by using it to power my CPAP machine. In this application, it is silent. I calculate it would be able to operate the CPAP machine between 4 and 7 nights. My machine heats the humidifier water and the breathing tube. Other machines might do even better if they donât have these features. We recently experienced a once-every-30-year ice storm and were without electricity for about 4 ½ days. I wish I had this power station during the blackout, but I am quite confident it will serve us well now that we have it.Our freezer just barely kept most if the food safe, but running it for an hour or two once or twice a day would certainly extend that safety margin considerably, and the power station could probably handle that for a day or two and still provide adequate cell phone charging and enough time on the CPAP machine to keep me safe for a few nights. The unit itself was well-packaged. The instructions are clear, and the app fairly simple and useful. The unit itself is not visibly intrusive, itâs quite compact and seems very well made. These days we are almost shamefully dependent on our electric and electronic devices, which are getting very energy efficient. Also this dependency is much more pronounced as we live longer. All in all a great purchase, which I hope never to actually need to use, but I am very sure we will need it sooner or later.Second update: About 14 months after the terrible power outage last year I bought a second Delta 2. The first one has performed perfectly, particularly during a fairly lengthy power outage a couple of months ago.I have been considering how to increase my reserve capacity: Should I get an auxiliary battery or a second power station? The price is about the same, but having 2 complete units seems to be more flexible. I had an opportunity to get a second Delta 2 for about â off the regular price, so that became my choice.Itâs so impressive how the power station pretty much sets itself up once plugged in, the app is opened on my phone and I touch h to the + button to add a new device. This is now my third EcoFlow unit because I bought a River 2 just for my CPAP machine about 6 months ago, and it has kept me safe on quite a few occasions.I feel very confident that we will be able to manage well during any future power interruptions.

Best part is the ease of use. Plug stuff in, push the little ‘AC’ or ‘USB’ on buttons and it just works. This unit keeps us powered remotely for exactly 3 days at a time between recharges – running light power tools (drills, etc.) and all the LED lights in our shipping container, plus charging phones, laptops and tablets. Fast recharge is great. We found it charges 10% per hour with the DC car charger while driving, and it’s probably somewhat helpful for the life of the unit to have it charge slowly like this. Very pleased with it so far.Six month update – this continues to be one incredible power pack. Built an entire off-grid cabin from the ground up (including running the cement mixer) using only it and dual 100w solar panels to charge during the day. Also runs a log splitter like a champ. Only issue we had was recurring shutoffs last week with a blinking fan warning light indicating (apparently – who reads the manual until they have to?) a blocked fan. Blew about a pound of sawdust out of the poor little unit and she was back to working like new. Pro tip: Don’t set this under the table saw while cutting hundreds of 2×6’s! ;)Love the ability to access so much info (state of charge as %, time to charge, wattage draw in-and-out, etc.) via the digital display. We can keep an eye on it minute-by-minute to know when we have to plan a break to recharge and then still have power for overnight camp use.Looking forward to picking up one of the new Ecoflow ‘Ultra’ power packs in future, given how pleased we are with this smaller unit.13 month update – still a solid 5-star experience and performing flawlessly – entirely off-grid and using the unit right now to power Starlink and computer. We’ve recharged it at least 400 times as we’ve used it every single day for all 13 months, and it has the same power reserve as when it was brand-new. Been a fantastic unit and now shopping for the additional battery for it just for some extra reserve time. The only thing I would like to see it have would be some kind of audible warning chime when reaching 5 or 10% power level – the first and only warning you get is total shutdown when it’s out of power.

I bought this a few years ago and really like it! There is no comparison between this and the Goal Zero Yeti. When the power went off for for 5-6 hours I used it to power my aquarium pump and heater. No issues with it, it takes less than an hour to charge the Ecoflow (1800W) and it holds the charge for months. The Goal Zero (500W) takes almost 8 hours to charge. I live in Canada and considering the winters we have and the weather I anticipate more power failures so I bought another Ecoflow Delta 2 during Black Friday sales. These units are very well made and the ones I have are about 33 lbs so not too heavy to handle.
