Minor Flaws, Great Overall (10 month owner)
I would give it a 5 star review (and I wish you could do 4.5), but there are some things about the case that I wish were a little bit better. I have owned this case for 10 months and I am now looking to replace it. First, the top of the case cracked and a piece broke off maybe 7 or 8 months into owning it, better than the screen I suppose but I have been too lazy to replace it up until now. Second, after a while the case becomes very… loose. Not loose to the point of the phone falling out of the case, but loose enough to where a lot more dirt and debris will get inside the case making it very dirty quite often. Now as far the good, I’ll keep it short and to the point. The design is the sleekest I have seen/felt for a protective case, and I have dropped my phone a few times since owning it and I’ve never once had a problem. The charger port cover held up extremely well and protected the port perfectly, and didn’t break even with me messing with it all the time. Lastly, the wireless charging works great. altogether, for me it is a case that even with some minor flaws is worth buying not once but now going on twice.

Nice Fit. Good Protection Without the Bulk.
I trust the Otterbox brand to protect my IPhone 16. I had the same model for my IPhone 13. Only dropped a few times with no damage. Also liked the charging port cover that keeps dirt out. I purchase a slightly used cover through Amazon and saved money. It looked like new and likely was nothing more than a return because someone tried it and didnât like it for some reason.

Toughest case out there, highly recommend.
I misplaced my phone on the roof of my car- I realized it had flown off on the freeway when my Bluetooth earbuds disconnected. I located it using FindMy app and got to the spot- happy to find that even though the case and screen protector were cracked and chipped in multiple places, the phone was intact without a scratch. Highly recommend.

Makes my iPhone almost bulletproof. The previous Otter case protected my iPhone 14 Pro extremely well and I expect the new case to do the same with my iPhone 16 Pro. Iâve had it for 3 weeks (with a few drops) and it did well. Ma quality case.But they need Toto make the opening for the new camera button a little shorter.

The Otterbox Commuter cover is solid, but doesnât feel clunky, like the Defenders were, it fits perfectly on my new iPhone 16 pro max. The major selling feature for me: was the raised edge around the camera lenses, providing better protection; and I love the colour, it is not pink, nor is it burgundy, but the colour is different enough to set the phone apart from the rest
