If you are unlucky enough to live in a place with really hard water this tool is a ‘plumber saver’ from emergency calls. If you are also unlucky enough to have a nuvo h2o system in a hard water area this can be a necessity. Every six months you get a refill cartridge for the h2o system and by then the collar has welded iteself on with crud that the h2o system is suppossed to prevent. So, you can’t remove the collar with the cheap plastic tool that comes with the system so you then can’t change the cartridge.Good luck contacting nuvo by email – they never answer and if you call them, it’s use a hair dryer or call a plumber.So DURATECH to the rescue! This tool breaks loose the collar and works on other plastic and metal pipes. Has already saved 5 time the price in plumber calls and only had it less than a week.What a great proiduct.

Use this to turn some oil field pipe while making a fence. Without a doubt, it would turn any piece of rusty pipe with minimal effort. It feels pretty durable like itâs gonna be around for a while, even after being used hard.

I used this to get a 4â diameter hydrostatic oil filter off of a tractor in a difficult place.I canât say enough good things about it. It was a very tight location with not a lot of room for the turn. It immediately grabbed the filter and it has a lot of leverage on the handle when you go to turn it. ðððð
