Our fitness weights feature a solid textured grip. The handle design features a curved center that contours to the natural arch of your hand giving the user a secure but not overly aggressive feel for a truly exceptional workout experience. The solid steel polypropylene coated bars are 17 inches long to provide ample space to accommodate the 6 interchangeable vinyl plates. The mid-point of the Handlebar measures 1.1 inches in diameter. This set includes (4) 1.5 lb weights, (4) 2.5 lb weights, and (4) 5 lb weights totaling 40 pounds when fully assembled. Polypropylene locking collar stars (0.2 lb each) tighten to hold the plates in place even during intense movements. Add or remove the smooth incremental plates to target muscles in your arms, shoulders, chest, back, legs, and core while preventing damage to floors and surfaces compared to cast iron counterparts. Eliminate the need for a large rack in your in-home workout area as you easily assemble different weight amounts to use during full body toning workouts.

Quality consistent with price.
This product is great for a beginner trying to start lifting without making a significant investment. As others have pointer out, the weights are plastic shells filled with sand. The seal isnât good, so sand does spill out. I put some gaffers tape over the openings to solve that problem. The parts had some greasy coating which washed off with some dish soap. The value proposition is that this is much much cheaper than competing products, and I was able to work around the problems associated with cheapness.Update: I am so grateful for this product which got me started down the right path to strength and health. I purchased this just over two years ago and started exercising just a few minutes each day. I immediately saw progress in the weight/reps/sets I could do for each exercise, doing a little more each week. This motivated me to keep progressing. After a year, I purchased a higher-capacity adjustable dumbbell since I maxed out the weight on this one. A few months ago, I got a bench, a barbell, and a set of weights to go further. I now have spreadsheets to track my progress and workout schedule and I spend ~2 hours each week lifting. This product allowed me to get started and realize how rewarding exercising can be. Everyone has different exercises they enjoy, so I recommend this as a cheap way to get started lifting to determine if itâs right for you.

Horrible. Low quality.
Terrible. I dropped one of the weights on a soft surface and not very hard at all, so one of the weights just burst open and ejected sand all over the floor. Do not recommend. Horrible quality.

Bulky Set
I guess I should read the details better. I needed a quick tempory set of dumbells, they do work for its purpose, but whatever its filled with comes out a little making them dirty and overtime will make weight uneven. Very bulky, makes me look like I’m lifting heavyyyy lol

Goes together just fine, no damage upon arrival. Cancelled my gym membership and have been enjoying the convenience of just waking up and working out before work a few times a week. I never liked machines, get enough cardio walking around and at work, and am recovering from a wrist injury so paying for a gym membership seemed pointless when I can just use something like this to do the EXACT same thing in my room! Can be 5, 10, 15 or 20 lbs each. I can go super light for my wrist if I need to without being self-conscious because I am at home (injured it ego-lifting at the gym, mistake on my part), and can lift heavier and add reps on good days still if it’s not too irritated for a harder workout. If you need super heavy weights then obviously this isn’t for you – for people who are doing strength training for health, or beginners, this is perfect. I’m not a body builder. I do it for basic physical and mental health and I am so glad I got them. I actually find my wrist is getting better lifting light and adjusting to the loads surprisingly well too! Would buy again. I was hesitant buying a brand I hadn’t heard of before, but they’re great!

I received my package a week later than expected, which isnât a big issue. When I got it one of the plates was cracked in half, spilling this black sand in the box. Luckily it was one of the smaller ones, but still bummed about it. Another thing I noticed on some of the plates are greasy but the others are completely fine. Overall itâs perfectly fine for the purpose especially for the price. Itâs a good deal and mostly satisfied.
