I Love This Fixture!
What I had before in my closet? A bare bulb and a *string*. Obviously, I wanted to upgrade from that, but I did not want to go to the trouble of installing new wiring, etc., especially since it is a cedar closet, and that would have disturbed the (vintage) paneling. With this fixture, I now have diffused light that is flush to the ceiling, no more harsh shadows, and a fresher look. Mine came with a short ball chain, (someone mentioned string?), to which I added a Westinghouse pull chain with a gorgeous clear glass ball with colorful dots all over it. It’s nice and heavy, easy to find in the dark, at just the right height and feels good in the hand. The whole thing was easily installed by my husband. His closet is next!

A little old-fashioned look, but does the job for an older house bathroom!
Works very well for a downstairs bathroom where an old socket pull-chain lamp used to be before the basement was rehabbed. One click response. Two LED bulbs are required. The best are frosted type bulbs, but clear will also work but more glare. Frosted diffuser globe is glass and easily retained and removed. Good, strong pull chain and can be extended if desired. High quality. Recommend it. The look of burnished aluminum housing works well with my silver faucets and other bathroom hardware–including towel racks and the mirror.

Be sure that your ceiling box is in good condition and is mounted solidly
The pull switch seems a bit flimsy but works as it should. Not gorilla proof. Be sure the box you are mounting this light to is mounted correctly. The light fixture is only as good as the box itâs mounted to…. I had to use washers on one of the mounting studs to get the fixture to tighten correctly as one of the studs threads into a blind hole in my ceiling box. Not a deal breaker. It looks great and does the job. Good value. Takes 2 standard light bulbs. Well insulated. Was designed before the modern LED bulbs were invented. The new LED bulbs stay cool to the touch.

Easy to install looks great
I thought the lamp would be big the base the glass but its quite compact and looks really nice like a little half moon nice lighting and not too hard to install. My building is very old so I had trouble screwing stuff in old sheetrock and taping up ends but in modern housing it would be a breeze to install just be safe and turn the power off first! I recommend these lets hope they last. Cheers.Update 11.16/20Make sure to screw the screws that hold the glass lamp tight I had left them loose and over time they must have loosened more and glass dome fell shattering into a million pieces but since i liked it I bought it again to replace the dome so be sure tighten the screws well.

Needed a light with a pull chain.
Neede an entry light that I could use a pull chain to turn off if I needed to and this worked out great! Really added the right amount of light I needed. It was easy to install. No complaints.

So far, so good
I had a very hard time installing this because the box that it is screwed to is not attached to anything. Since I rent, I’m going to fix it. So far it is working fine. The pull chain on the lamp that was installed broke and couldn’t be fixed. I only hope that this one lasts longer than I do. If it breaks, I will let the landlord replace it.

Nice basic lights, super easy to install! Took me maybe 20- 30 minutes to install, including shuttng the power off and removing old fixture. Only think i don’t like are the chain extensions… it’s just a piece of string… but easy to get something else
