This is a great alternative to purple liquid shampoo. It leaves my gray hair feeling very soft and maintains an even tone. I bought it to take on an international trip, but I may use all the time in the future.

Stains the shower but easy remedy by changing how I store it
This shampoo bar works really well. I got compliments from my hair person for how my salt/pepper hair pops now. It lathers really nicely too for being a bar. Each bar lasts about 4-5 mo, and I wash my hair almost everyday. It stained my tub and shower from the drips. I now put it in a soap basket with a washcloth under it to catch the drips so it won’t stain the shower. Otherwise an affordable good shampoo.

Not just for blondes!!
I’m not blonde nor do I have color treated hair. I’m a brunette with some grey, but this is my favorite shampoo! It works the best for me, cleans well and rinses out easily and not overly perfumed.

I love the rice water protein, shampoo, and conditioner bars. Bought this because I am a blonde, and assumed my hair would feel just as clean and fresh as it does with the other, and hopefully it would remove some of the brass. I did not notice much toning, what I did notice was the heavy feel of my hair. It just never felt like it washed out. I will stick with the kitsch rice water protein.Moroccanoil purple shampoo and conditioner do the best job for me on removing brass and not making my hair look purple
