You can only use very small pills.
It did not work for us. The catâs pills did not fit in the plunger.

Works great with small dog
These work great for getting pills into my pill-resistant, semi-toothless five pound shitzu chihuahua mix dog, and they are easy to wash. Small pills go right in, and i divide big pills into smaller pieces. Before I had these, I spent a long frustrating time trying to crush and hide pills in various types of food. These are great.

I really wanted to love this…
… since it appears to be very helpful. For me, i discoverd that is much easier to pill my cats the good ole fashion way. Maybe I was using it wrong? Lol.ð¤·ââï¸ Give it a go. Also, the pills, not large at all, kept getting crushed when pushing them through. Nice price! Loved the 2 for 1 deal.

Works very well for small pets
Pill forceps might be better than these, but for small pets and small medications, these work very well. They have small tips, so be careful. You could either not release the pill, or worse yet, launch it into your pet. Also, these to pull apart easily, probably to make it easier to wash.

Ever give a cat a pill?
Our cat was diagnosed with epilepsy in the last year. If you’ve ever tried to give a cat a pill, you probably understand what we had to go through. I was so nervous about giving her a pill, that originally I opted for the liquid medicine. That was a total mess. When I found these pill dispensers, it changed everything. I am now easily able to give my cat a pill single-handedly. She doesn’t like it, but we really don’t have a choice. I highly recommend these pill dispensers if you have to give a pill to a cat.

Doesn’t give or hold pills well
for context, I was a veterinary technician for 7 years. I’ve used tools like this before and this is the worst of them. I used this for small cat pills. Does not hold the pill. The pill holding area is just a piece of rubber tubing with a vertical slit, so the pill slowly starts to slip out because you’re just wedging it in a slit. Pills kept falling out several times before I could even get it to my cat’s mouth. If I did get it in my cat’s mouth, it didn’t launch properly several times. There is a hard plastic piece inside the tube that is supposed to push the pill forward, however, if you have to wedge the pill in to stay put, the hard plastic “launcher” often goes to one side or other of the pill, missing it completely and leaving the pill lodged in the rubber tube. The design is not good at all. Threw it away and I’m buying another pill popper.

I like that it comes into two pack. Easy to use. Love it.

Too small to hold meds , plunger was useless and punctured my dogs capsule , I even cut the end and it still didn’t workAvoid at all costs ( or buy mine for two quid ,you’ll find it in my bin)

Really disappointing. These donât work at all. I brought these to replace the one I have that a little worse for wear!! But nup, pathetic. Wouldnât take it even if they were giving them away for free. These are designed to spit the pill into the back of the animals throat so the animal can swallow it easier. There was absolutely no power behind it to push a tablet anywhere. All I got was a distraught dog. Went back to my old one. Threw these ones out.
