As advertised. Not quite 5000 watts but close. 4889 watts in full solar high sun which is 1:42pm here. . Start producing 30 watts just as sun breaks horizon at 6:47 am this time of year. Real solar production starts around 7:20am, as I said… this time of year and breaks around 300 watts. and no yet hitting panels and also, just a few min after sun set still producing 90 watts for a few minutes before dropping to 0. The winter will tell me all so I’m hoping these work well as I only need to make about 1800 watts an hour to stay above battery full level till sunset.

Massive drop in production
Just after a year since purchase these panels will only produce a max of 3.2kw and when installed they would produce 4.8kw. I know that panels drop production but this percentage is higher then the 10 year drop rating and it’s only been a year probably not even a year that it has been installed.

Happy first time customer!
We purchased 8 500w panels. They arrived faster than I expected. The seller was super friendly and had excellent communication. The panels work great. During peak hours, we bring in around 3500w, which has been good at keeping our batteries charged during summer. We plan to buy 8 more to help over winter. This is our first solar power set up and first time buying solar panels so we have nothing to compare them to but they do what we expected them to do based on what we were told so weâre very happy with our purchase.

I liked the size and wattage of the panels.The price was another reason.I used them for powering my hybrid battery/solar system for house backup.On a sunny day the panels generated 4.5kW of solar input from 5kW of panels. Outstanding!

I waited a long time for just the right PV panel to come to market. The Sungold Power 500 watt PV panels checked all my boxes.The panels arrived in a timely manner and very well packaged. When I uncrated them I found they were as described. These panels are large, 44″x84″, but weigh just 57lbs each.I have a small 21′ travel trailer I live and travel in full-time. I’m primarily off-grid and needed enough PV wattage to keep up with my 48 volt system. Most RVers install multiple smaller (by watt and size) PV panels, but my situation was there wasn’t enough room to mount enough solar panels to achieve 1000 watts. That is until I came across these Sungold Power PV panels.I mounted the panels myself using unistruts as the base. It was an uncomplicated installation. The only inconvenient part of this install was that the negative and positive diodes are not situated next to each other. Rather, they are mounted opposite each other and the wires are not very long. This was a minor inconvenience (hence the 4 stars). I wired these panels in series and the output is consistently about 84 volts that feeds a 3000 watt hybrid inverter.I have traveled nearly a thousand miles and am enjoying an off-grid adventure in the middle of nowhere. These panels are performing as described. I’m thrilled with purchase and would highly recommend this product.Update: I found that the panels absorb the heat that would otherwise turn the inside of my trailer into an oven. I’ve not read this realization from any others. So, I’m delighted to share that a side benefit of roof-mounted panelsis a cooler interior.

Update : after 3 weeks panels arrived by Enterprise truck.3 Star because if the SHIPPING CEVA. very horrible service.2 the connectors are very very short, budget buying extra cables.Now CEVA – They are horrible. It’s almost a month, I have not received my solar panels. Every day out for delivery, but never gets delivered.Msg Amazon, worst thing ever, they cancel my order and order a replacement order. Since the original order date, Still don’t have my panels.
