Colorful long string lights
We ran this ourdoor light along the front eaves before Halloween, and the process was fairly easy. Function wise, the string feels sturdy and the connectors look solid, which reassures me since theyâre outside in the weather. After plugging them in and connecting through the app, my kids helped me choose different colors for different evenings, orange and purple for a small family Halloween party, soft white for a quiet weekend night. The app lets us adjust brightness and effects without climbing a ladder, which is a big plus. In our first test at night the colors were bright and even, and the slow flashing mode added a fun glow across the yard. The only minor downside so far has been figuring out the appâs timer feature; it took me a couple of tries to get it to stay on for the right length of time. Also, because itâs a long string, untangling it before hanging took patience. Still, once up, it stayed put through a light rain and some wind, showing that the waterproof rating matters. For daily use I keep the lights on a soft white setting, but for holidays itâs nice to switch to bold colors instantly. Itâs good looking, sturdy light set that adds personality to the house.

My husband and I quickly set it up without any extra fiddling. There’s a wide selection of colors, and you can switch between them via the app. The holiday mode is fun, perfect for everything from Halloween to Christmas, and you can even adjust to a single color for everyday use. The strip fits neatly against the eaves, maintaining its aesthetic during the day while adding a touch of ambiance when lit. Functionally, it’s reliable, with the remote control and app responsive, and no lag when switching between modes. The strip feels solidly made and is waterproof, even working smoothly in the rain. For the price/performance ratio, the brightness and variety of colors are a real bargain. The only caveat is that the adhesive strips may not hold up well in humid weather, so I recommend using screws for added security.

Spend the extra money & buy the good quality lights. You get what you pay for. You can barely see these from our road 100ft away. They cut on and off at random times & do their own thing in terms of flashing or colors.

Fun light at night
These outdoor lights turned out to be such a nice addition to the house. The 100ft length was plenty to cover along the roofline, and the strand feels sturdy enough to hold up outside.
