Customers say
Customers find the wire connectors easy to use and appreciate their functionality, with one mentioning they work well for automotive repair. The connection quality is positive, with one customer noting they’re perfect for hooking wires together, and customers consider them good value for money. However, the material thickness receives negative feedback, with several customers noting the walls are too thin. Moreover, the wire hold is problematic, with multiple customers reporting that wires fall out of the crimps. The quality and size receive mixed reviews, with some finding them adequate while others describe them as low quality and note that the smallest size is too big.

These splicing sleeves work very well.
I bought this splice kit and really like it. As long as you have shrink tubing to put over the connector when you make your splice. Just need a good crimping tool and to make a good crimp.

Awesome
These work great for automotive repair. I have used many of these and never an issue. They are not the split type so you can crimp as tight as you want and they wonât fall apart

Totally changed wiring game
I found myself cutting up insulated connectors for the metal tube inside. Went on here and sure enough they make uninsulated butt connectors. Combine these with those hot glue heat shrinks, and you have a perfect connection I’d almost compare to a solder joint. These are not thin cheap things, they crimp and hold.

Length is 15mm……none too long!
I purchased the Glarks 220Pcs Non-Insulated (Copper) Butt Connectors to use to solder copper wire ends together. They are non-insulated, which is what I wanted for this task. I received them in a small plastic box, with 5 inside bins which was in a plastic bag when it arrived…….thank goodness! If you don’t mind sorting 220 connectors, in 4 different sizes, when they arrive, then you will love these. The plastic box these came in had opened (due to a bad latch) and most of these connectors were “roaming around together” inside the plastic bag. This required the need to sort all of these connectors (220) back into their individual bins. Seems like I am not the only one this has happened to. The latch does not work on the plastic box (mine is broken) so you will need some type of tape (ie: duct tape) to keep the lid closed for future use.All the connectors are 15.10mm to 15.15mm in length, EXCEPT the largest size (BN5.5) which ranged from 14.90mm to 15.00mm (I used digital calipers to measure length). I certainly wouldn’t want to buy anything shorter than the 15mm length in any connector. I have not used them to solder with yet, but they look sturdy enough for that purpose. So, if you enjoy initially sorting connectors for 30 minutes, then these seem to be of good enough quality to use. Mine are sorted now, the box is taped shut with duct tape, and I look forward to using them on my next wire soldering project. I purchased the box for a little less than $11.00.

Perfection
So much better than the insulated ones. I like to use the marine shrink wrap so these are nice and narrow, allowing me to slide the wrap over them and not increase the diameter of the wiring too much

No stretching.
Works well. No problems with the 20 or so I’ve uses so far. Be sure you have a good pair of crimpers for these. The review suggest I use the word stretch. I would stretching on this item would be a bad thing. I have not noticed any stretching on a metal object that is crimped on a wire. Lol.

Thin walls!
These are not high quality crimp splices. They have thin walls, particularly in the larger size crimps. I wouldnât use these for any critical or commercial applications, particularly as crimp connections. As solder sleeves, they work well, and take solder nicely.

Excellent bare wire butt connectors
I used these to extend some short length ground wires on various circuits, when converting a service entry load center to a sub panel, where I had to add a separate ground bar on the opposite side of the panel. I used a hydraulic hand held crimping tool to compress these connectors onto the wire. This worked perfectly. With heat shrink tubing, these would work equally as well as butt connectors on insulated wire. Nice selection of sizes and quantities.

Incredible value considering box stores like Canadiantire in my country will charge 1 dollar a crimp. They are thinner, but I think that just makes them easier to crimp on automotive AWG sizes and get a bite down the wire with a non-insulated part of a crimp tool such as the Channellock 909. They do appear to be real copper electroplated in tin, I cut one in half to verify. The criticism about the thinness of these maybe might have to do with the thicker AWG crimps. I have no need for the thicker AWG crimps that come with this and canât verify their use.
