Customers say
Customers find the bike rack to be an excellent no-nonsense carrier that’s easy to assemble and install, holds well on dirt roads, and offers good value with included hitch stabilizer. The functionality is positive, with one customer noting it works particularly well on camper bumpers. Regarding safety and fit, while some customers feel confident their bikes are held securely, others report issues with straps not staying in place, and while some bikes fit great, others find it too tight for four bikes. The durability receives mixed reviews, with multiple customers reporting strap failures.

Great product and excellent customer service
I purchased this bike shelf a while ago but didnât get a chance to install it until recently. When I finally did, I realized it unfortunately doesnât fit my car â entirely my own oversight. The product itself is solidly built and well-designed, with clear and easy-to-follow instructions. When I reached out to customer service, they responded immediately and were incredibly helpful. They worked with me through the process and eventually issued a refund, even though the issue wasnât their fault.I truly appreciate the outstanding service and professionalism. If this product fits your car, I believe youâll be very happy with it!

Easy setup rack for 4 bikes!
I have used many bike racks for racking my mountain bikes but his is one of the best and easy setup bike racks.Very easy to build from scratch took me just under 30 mins to setup and go from scratch.Holds bikes very securely without any trembling.Quick and easy removable latch for opening the car hood space.Holds upto 4 bikes and the holder is sturdy enough to carry good weight from the bikes.Heavyduty and perfect for all sized bikes. The length can be expandable for easy maneuvering of the bikes. If nkt used the rack can be set down for safety.Overall this bike rack is made sturdy and has good and easy way to setup bikes for travel and other needs.Great product and I highly recommend this bike rack.

Overall, it’s fine. Arrived rusty, but was replaced. It wobbles and rattles a bit.
Good enough. The first kit I got was rusty. The interior of all three square-tube pieces were rusty. Only the mounting hardware and “stabilization plate” were fine. The seller sent me a replacement kit, which was rust free. It has pretty loose tolerances, and wobbles a fair bit from side to side. The “stabilization plate” helps, by clamping onto the bottom lip of the receiver. I added thick paint to both the hitch end of the tube, and both surfaces of the rack’s own separation point, and that tightened it up a bit. It still sways a bit, and occasionally rattles when driving over bumps.Once installed, putting the bikes on here is pretty easy. The holders on each fork (to hold the bike frame) seem a little cheap, but good enough for now. The plastic base tents to deform a bit with a heavy bike, but they haven’t broken. The rubber strap which goes over the top of the bike frame, is a little tough to secure onto the button-thing. However, it is doable. I don’t quite trust it enough, so I add a ratchet strap of my own.It may or may not be possible to carry 4 bikes. If done carefully, you probably could. You can definitely fit 3.

nice carrier for 4 bikes

Damaged my car, my bike, and risked the safety of others on the road!
AVOID ON THE HIGHWAY!!Those who want a quick Summary: the mounts that hold the bike onto the rack turn into smush when the sun hits them for 2 days, and the straps pop off easily. The bike will unmount and hit your car, or fly off (thankfully I only ended up with a few deep scratches on my car paint and glass, versus the rear window breaking completely. The whole story:I had to do a 3.5 hour drive to make it to a meet up and my goodness this has got to be one of the most stressful drives Iâve ever done. (Iâve driven with a stuttering engine before but driving with this rack was way worse!). It was fine within the city at low speeds but as soon as the sun came out, and I went on the highway at 70mphâ¦oh my goodnessâ¦ITS SO BAD!!The bike immediately came off and when I went to go and check, the mounts were just mush! They had gotten so soft in the sun that no matter how many times I try to put the bike back in place, the Mount would just get squashed and deformed under the weight of my bike (my bike weights less than 20lbs).First time bike slid off because mounts just flattened and I ended up with scratches on my cars rear window (photos coming soon)Second time bike slid off because the mounts flattened and the straps were the only thing keeping the bike from flying offâ¦.this time I ended up with DEEP scratches in the paint of my car.Third time the bike came off because the straps snapped off. My U-Lock Cable was the only thing ensuring the bike didnât fly off into traffic.Fourth time the bike came off because the mount was mush again, some heavy braking slid the bike back onto the mount though. All this happened within a 3.5 hour drive. But! The first 1.5 hours the bike was fine, it was the last 2 hours where all of those events above happened.Plus, this was all on butter-smooth florida highways.I was so happy to arrive at my location. The very first thing I did was go to a sporting goods store and buy a Thule bike rack for the drive back (no I canât afford a Thule so despite being against using credit cards for loans, Iâm using my credit line to buy a Thule just for the drive back).I simply cannot risk damaging my car, my bike, or worse, the safety of other drivers on the road.Yes Iâm returning this.No I would never recommend this to a friend. Trying to save ~$100 I ended up having the following damage done:Car paint: $50 for touch up paint plus clear coatScratches on the window: $200 for a new rear windowDEEP Scratches on my bike: idk how much this will cost to fix, but definitely ruined the finish on my bike.Other than that major issue, the locking pin jams under the weight of a bike so folding the bike in order to access your trunk will get annoying really fast.

Good price for good item
This was easy for my husband to install on my car and we were able to fit our two bikes to go riding this weekend. There was a little bit of rattling but nothing he couldnât adjust to keep it tight. So far we are happy with it!

Received it yesterday and already used it.Bought the 2 bike rack but I regret not buying the 4 bike rack as it is a solid one, super easy to install

This product was ready and easy to setup. Hang on the truck no problem. Yes it swivels but man itâs hard put bikes on. Unless you have a large bike that offers a LARGE only frame, loading up any other bike is a nightmare. Forget putting a womanâs bike on here. Straps are too small for thicker frame. Tried putting my kids bike on this and what a challenge. There is no way to put 4 bikes on here. Especially large ones.. dissapointed with this product and will have to make my own brackets and adjustments hours before I leave for vacation.
