Camera is great. Crisp picture, easy set up. Magnetic mount is terrible, itâs not nearly strong enough to hold the camera in position. Of course the sturdy mount is sold separately.

Overall, the functionality is solid. The 1080p picture quality is good, and itâs nice that you can adjust it depending on your Wi-Fi strength. The battery isnât USB-C, but it has held up well so far, especially since I paired it with a third-party solar panel for daily charging. Now my house under surveillance which is nice but there are improvements I think should be made:1. Connectivity: I had to purchase a Wi-Fi extender because the initial connection wasnât strong enough. Itâs better now, but the camera connection still crashes or disconnects occasionally when handling multiple requests.2. Lag: Motion detection has a slight delay. The camera often wakes up a bit too late, which sometimes causes it to miss important details like a personâs face.3. Wall Mount Design: The included black twist magnetic wall mount is poorly designed. The twist cap isnât strong enough to hold the mount itself. My camera almost fell offâI caught it just in time. I strongly recommend purchasing a sturdier, separate wall mount.

Excellent camera for the price.
Very nice clarity on the camera. Very easy to set up as well and I have it constantly charged as a backup so I donât have to keep switching out batteries. Very nice clarity, sound is really decent for what you get. Spotlight that is built-in on the camera does illuminate quite well, and if you have the settings, right, this really works as intended. As a very broad viewpoint so you can see quite a bit, and it detects movement based on your settings, very nicely.The product came on time, was packaged well and it is brand new as usual. I have multiple cameras set up around my property and it is all Simplisafe. One thing I do recommend is getting a Wi-Fi extender. There are plenty of them that are out in the market that you can use and it really helps with the downloading of images process especially when you are intending the View to be 1080p. Phenomenal set up. Highly recommend.

Magnet isnât strong enough.
Magnet canât support the camera. Camera constantly just slips straight downward facing over just a couple of hours. Totally useless.
